Nice Stay w/ Some Issues
The house in Cle Elum is very nice with great location to downtown and local amenities. We ran into a few issues that were brought up in previous reviews. The showers all had hot water issues that I think were caused by restrictions on the handle rotation. There was also zero lawn, making me believe that the lush green grass in the photos was actually photoshopped in, unfortunately. The grill was also very subpar and poorly maintained. There was an immediate grease fire when starting it the first day and we were forced to turn it off and let it subside for the better part of an hour until we could remove the grates and scrape everything caked to the inside. Overall a nice stay with friends, but those few things were a bit of a damper.

Plenty of Room... amazing views
We enjoyed a family reunion at the Atticus House. The accommodations were great. There's a living room upstairs (large windows with amazing views!) and another spacious family room downstairs. That meant that the teenagers could hang out downstairs while the adults talked upstairs. That doesn't even mention the garage (pool table and other games) or the sitting room upstairs. The house feels larger than it's stated square footage. There are several different areas, so you don't feel like you're tripping over one another.

This is a very spacious home -we had 22 and never felt crowded or bottle necked. View from the balcony was beautiful! Main floor suite is lovely. All the bedding was new and comfortable. Between outdoor and indoor areas, there was enough dining seating for all. Well stocked- but we did bring a few casserole type dishes and aluminum chaffing dishes. Could use more storage dishes (Tupperware) Three refrigerators was really helpful! Owner was very responsive with questions prior. We did have a hot water issue that affected our stay but owner relentlessly worked on until it was resolved. Upper floor bedrooms share a half bath- no shower just an fyi. The photo looks like green yard - but it did not look that way during our stay - not exactly conducive to bocce ball type games. The large fire pit was great! We gathered many around it. Bring own firewood if there are no fire bans. Also of note - owner rules are reasonable and do not feel overly restrictive or burdensome. Was a GREAT place for the dogs - they felt on vacation too!

Great cabin for our huge family
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We have a huge family so finding somewhere that will accomodate us is no easy chore but this lodge did that and did it well. The lodge is very roomy and had plenty of room for everyone to hang out, spread out and have a good time. The location is great, we went during winter and there is plenty of room to go sledding and enjoy the snow. Its fairly private and has a phenomenal sunrise view. Overall it was great and we had a great time. Couple minor things I would change, the BBQ grill is small and takes extra time to grill enough food to accomodate the full group and the hot tub is not very user friendly when trying to adjust temperatures to make the water temperature more suitable to our needs. Thanks for allowing our family to stay and make memories at the cabin.

Beautiful Cle Elum Home
We flew in from Hawaii with a big group of family and friends. Driving up the hill to get to the house feels like you're in a secluded part of the mountains even though you're a few minutes away from all the necessities that you need (groceries, gas, etc) This is exactly what we were looking for since we had a big group and knew that we needed a place with a lot of space for the kids to run and explore without getting into anyone else's space. First look at the house left our group excited because it was such a beautiful spot with plenty of room for everyone. The upstairs kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the dining room big enough to accommodate everyone during our dinners. Kuhrt was easy to get a hold of if we had any questions or needs during our stay. Definitely one of the best vacation homes we've stayed in and HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here if you're looking to stay in the area..
