Worst VRBO experience
The communication to check in was horrible. I tried several times on our trip here to get info and still unsure as I walked to the door. Then I open the door to this no smoking apartment and was treated by the strong smell of pot. Then as the night went on we discover there is no pull out sofa as listed. When asked, the renters refused to refund for the deception. Then we had a party of 4 and only found towels for two. There was towels in the dryer that we then started after an hour they were still wet. The lint trap was packed full probably not cleaned in a year. There are no trash cans in bathrooms for personal hygiene products only one in kitchen. And there was a shard of broken glass that got stepped on in the second bedroom. There was a new remote for the TV in the bedroom however no batteries for it so that was unusable. The location was great. Easy access to the highway and downtown. The view was amazing. Hopefully if renter can get a handle on everything this would be a great rental.

Nightmare
I booked this for a professional workshop I was attending. The first night was double booked and the owner bumped my reservation. The second day I couldn’t check in until 3:00. Once I arrived there was a maze to try to navigate through to find the key in a lock box, (which had been removed). I then had to meet a man in the building for the key. He took me up to the apartment. Once we walked in, he locked the door with us inside. I was extremely uncomfortable. He showed me around and then left. The floors were sticky, apartment smelled of smoke and air freshener, windows were open. The toilet was missing the connection between the handle and the flushing mechanism. Completely broken. I decided to leave as I didn’t feel safe. Was refunded for the night that they canceled on me but, that was it. The parking is far away from the secured parking area. The walk through the area at night would be terrifying. As well as trying to navigate through the parking garage and weird rooms with mailboxes to try to find a key that isn’t really there. The pictures make this place look great… it’s not. The info makes it seem like a quick hop to downtown, it’s not.
