Check in wasn't to bad. Nice room. Left to go get dinner and left do not disturb tag on our door. Upon return our tag was gone and key wouldn't work. They had given someone else our room while we were gone, and they had been able to get into our room with all of our belongings. Desk clerk was unsure how the mix up happened.

I liked the price when I booked online but after seeing the property/room it was totally a different story. I cleaned/sanitized the room because it was clear this had not been done. The toiletries had already been used and there was lots of cobwebs on lampshades and upper shelf in the closet. The lamps/fixtures were outdated and broken. There was no place to plug in phones. There was some kind of indoor machines being moved out very early in the morning...very noisy. We went out for breakfast because there was the same thing for both days that we stayed. Dining area was very small and crowded. Overall, very disappointing. I've stayed in Independence many times before and had a great stay. Maybe I just picked the wrong hotel????

Not great , The room smelled like cigarettes and Mildew, sheets and comforter were very dirty and pee on the side of the toilet, that was never clean from the previous guest, the shower was dirty and the water pressure was awful

The bathroom had a leaky bathtub faucet, mold around the bathtub, loose toilet seat. There was no grab bar on the bathtub wall. The hotel smelled like cigarette smoke in the hallways. It was very run down. Breakfast was limited. Overall impression was run down and dirty.

We were not greeted the best. Came in 10 mins before 4pm check in time no one at the desk.. when someone did come, he said , in not a nice tone,i thought check in was at 4.... very inappropriate.

We were given a room with a broken door and broken toilet. They were sold out of the 2 queen beds so they had to put us in a long with a pull out couch. This room was so humid and smelled like mold. The fridge kept falling out of it's cubby when you opened the door and the pull out couch had the most squeaky springs and was hard.

Very loud group staying at the hotel. Starting up their motorcycles at 3 am. Wheelies. Unsafe in the parking lot. Also, I emailed ahead of time and requested an accessible room for a disabled family member and they confirmed but it was not given to us upon arrival. The public bathroom on the first floor was locked our entire stay.
