Staff was wonderful, my room was clean. The only complaint I have is the condition of the water in the pool, it was very dirty. I booked the room because my son wanted to go swimming for his birthday so I was disappointed when I saw how filthy the pool water was.

Hotel was somehow overbooked so couldn’t get the original room I booked months in advance. The hotel was under renovations so I’m guessing they’ll be fixing a lot of this but the bottom of the tub in our room felt like it was going to break through the surround if you stood in just the right spot, the caulk around the outside of the tub looked like it could have been moldy at one point. Not the worst place I’ve stayed but just felt icky. Staff was very nice and friendly but definitely understaffed, waited almost 45 minutes just to check in.

It is under renovation so this should get better, but our microwave did not work and neither the trash can in the room or the one in the bathroom had a bottom. So one had laid a folded bag on them, but it didn’t really fit and ripped when you tried to out it on.

The staff were so beyond wonderful, I feel bad giving a review that’s around 2-3 stars. However, I felt that this was necessary given the state of the total hotel. While the lobby & room were rather solid, the hallways are completely stripped down giving a quite ghastly feel. I would’ve rated this higher if there was at least a heads up - the price is comparable to other hotels in the area that aren’t going through renovations, which also was odd as I’d expect them to lower the total pricing given the state of the building. While the room was great, there were some issues - the ironing board was extremely stained and in bad condition, some of the white paint chips being stripped from the hallway were inside the room, etc. I believe that if you go to this hotel, you’ll have a good experience in your room & with the staff, and I imagine this will be 5 stars once renovations are complete. However, it felt deceptive that there weren’t any notices (or at least obvious and clear ones) prior to booking.

First of all, all the employees were great! Amazing service- from check in, to restaurant, to friendly and smiley staff around the hotel. I don’t think our room was cleaned. I found meds on the floor, hair inside bedsheets. And bathrooms - our toilet was not cleaned inside and out (I have pics). Hair on the tub. I know this is not a Ritz Carlton but this is not a motel. We were there only for one night and when we came back to the room Saturday night, it was too late to complain so we slept in our clothes. I paid over $200 per night. Do better!

Horrid!!!!! Words can’t explain!!!!!!! Hilton need to be ashamed to have this property under their name!!! The only pleasant part was two male staff young black gentleman!!!!!other than that the staff at the desk are horrible!!!! I would have rather slept in my car!!! I had to buy sheets and a shower mat just to get through the two days of me being there! It was a disaster and a disgusting environment!! This place needs to be shut down! They only have one elevator working and not even both sides of it!!! I was afraid to buy from the market due to cleanliness!!! Being a former employee and a gold elite member at Marriott, I do not wish to come and re clean my hotel room!I am also a Hilton honors member and I am highly disappointed!!

My family and I were in Cleveland for an air show. This Double Tree is where we decided to stay. What a mistake!! The bathroom was crusty, outdated and had mold. There were bugs in the corners of the bathroom floor. There were no pool towels available, and even after I asked for some, we never received them. We also called the front desk and asked for more bathroom towels, and also did not receive those either. The outdoor landscaping left much room for improvement. Overall, the hotel was outdated and the bathroom was dirty and our shower did not drain properly.
