This beautiful Chattahoochee River escape provides the perfect place to kick back and enjoy what mountain living is all about. The luxurious cabin is privately situated in an exclusive area, only 17 minutes from historic downtown Helen, Ga. High atop the mountain on 1.5 acres of woods, overlooking 150' of private waterfront on the Chattahoochee River.

The two large covered porches are a favorite place to hang out with family or friends, enjoy a good meal or just kick back and relax to the rustling sounds of the River. On the lower deck, you can soak your cares away in the luxury hot tub. Don't forget to pick up some marshmallows for roasting in the fire pit courtyard, complete with seating for all.

Inside, you'll find all the comforts of home. There is a stunning rock fireplace sure to take the chill off a cool evening in the North Georgia Mountains. The luxurious leather furniture offers comfort as well as beauty. The downstairs provides a full living area with two bedrooms, a full bath and game room for all ages.

You can enjoy all nature has to offer the area with convenient kayaking, tubing, canoeing, zip lining, hiking, beautiful waterfalls, wineries, apple orchards and fishing to your hearts content!

Great Cabin
We had a wonderful stay! The cabin had amazing views and came with all kinds of amenities such as a fire place, jacuzzi, and fire pit outside for a bonfire. The cabin itself was also near cities such as Helen, which made for wonderful excursions during the day time. Definitely recommend staying here for anyone interested!

From the communication of the property manager to the beautiful scenery, cleanliness and the most comfortable beds ever. Fire pit was relaxing to hangout with the family and how close we were to the college. Wish we would have found this one last year. Our family enjoyed our time at the cabin. Our kids loved the downstairs area, walking down to the river, and playing outside. In the area, we had fun hiking and exploring nearby towns including Helen. I would recommend William and his cabin to those looking to stay in Northern GA :)

Perfect Summer Getaway!
Three moms and 6 kids (ages 9-15) in need of a mountain retreat! This home was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out, but also accomodating to having dinner and playing games together. The house was perfectly located overlooking the river. The stairs gave us plenty of exercise as we watched the turtles sunbathe each morning. We brought deer feed as suggested by the host and enjoyed watching them graze each morning and evening. The beds were AMAZING!!! The porches were perfect for reading! Less than 30 minutes from Helen and Clarkesville. Only 15 minutes to the closest Ingles. We had an incredible time and would love to visit again!!!

The Perfect Getaway
This was the perfect place to reconnect with my friends from high school who I've remained friends with for over 40 years. The owner is very friendly. Great vacation
We had a lovely stay at this cabin! Everyone enjoyed the home, property and surrounding towns. Rafting, zip lining, mini golf with swimming in area waterfalls. Home was very clean and nicely decorated. Property well maintained and lovely. Deer visited every morning. House was supplied adequately for several days and didn’t go without anything. We hope to return at a future date. Thank you Porters!

The perfect stay
This was the perfect getaway cottage on the river. The cottage was just as described. It fit my family of 5 with lots of room to spare. The owner was easily reached and always available for answers we were needing, though everything was so perfect we didn’t need any. The river was fun for fishing every morning. Helen was a quick drive to enjoy everything there. When we had a rainy day the cabin had all of the fun amenities we needed to still enjoy our day and not be bored or disappointed and the hot tub was a great way to end every night. If anyone is thinking of visiting Helen and/or surrounding areas then this is definitely the one and only place to stay; it is perfectly placed central to any town around giving you plenty of options for hikes, shopping, entertainment and food.

The cabin was as advertised. It was very clean and well kept. The owners even decorated for Christmas which was perfect for our family’s Thanksgiving. We had 10 people and all of the beds were comfortable. Wonderful view of the river. We had two children there under 2 so the only downfall If anything was there were no blinds in the master bedroom for nap time, but it was great overall. Plentiful parking as well, and communication with the owner was quick and easy. 5 stars!!
