Beautiful Hotel, Frustratingly Late Check-In
We booked this hotel because of its stunning design and great location, but unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. We planned a stay for our friend’s birthday and tried to arrange an early check-in at 3 PM to decorate the room. When told check-in wasn’t until 4, we completely understood and patiently waited in the lobby. However, as 4 PM came and went, we were informed that rooms typically aren’t ready until 4:30 — despite their website clearly stating 4 PM check-in. This left us scrambling and almost caused us to miss our 5 PM plans. The lack of transparency around check-in times was incredibly frustrating. If the policy is to push guests to the last possible minute, just say so upfront rather than stringing people along. For such a beautiful hotel, it’s disappointing that the guest experience doesn’t match the aesthetics. If you’re planning to stay here, don’t expect to get to your room any time before the sun sets.

This place is extraordinary! They think of little details like providing coffee beans along with a nice jug of cold drinking water in the fridge. So very nice to have a full kitchen and room to move around. This place is a hidden gem!!!

Was great! Would stay again. Amazing clean property. Checking in was a bit difficult and the check in staff wasn’t the greatest. The property however is difficult to navigate, they need better forms of directions. Especially with how large the building is.

My fiancé and I booked a room through Expedia for my birthday a couple weekends again. We were very pleasantly surprised by the room. The staff was very nice at check in. But when we were getting ready to check out the following day my fiance noticed he was charged by Expedia and an additional $250 from the Roost. We asked the staff when we left why that was and we were told that was for incidentals and we would be refunded. They never refunded us and we were told the coffee table frame was bent. It was a glass coffee table top! There's no way we could have bent the frame without shattering the glass top. Very disappointed
