Fantastic house in a very pretty location

The house was amazing, lots of space with social and games areas and a fantastic pool. Kitchen was very well stocked. We would stay again. The area is very pretty with a few restaurants and bars. We also could get fresh fish straight from the port daily. Loved it.

Happy Holiday

We stayed at this Villa 7 years ago and nothing has changed still a superb Villa and amenities, the location to the picturesque Harbour and sea are only 5 minutes away. Our host Sylvie is so pleasant and welcoming which helps the holiday off to a good start. We will certainly be back for another holiday and would highly recommend this Villa for a care free family holiday

modern family home

Our hosts were warm and welcoming throughout, attentive to every question at any time. The house is in fantastic condition and in a great spot for access to Doelan port and coastal trails with their small creek beaches and tide pools. Amenities are top notch, suitable for all weather, and easily accommodated our family reunion of 12 (and even 14 at dinner).

Beautiful house in beautiful place

This house is absolutely stunning. The photographs cannot capture how well maintained it is, and the space is incredible! Sylvie was wonderful - we were three generations from age 4 to 76 and we had a fantastic time. There is something for everyone here. The pool was well loved and used by our girls, and our little lad loved the garden! The harbour is beautiful and we made good use of local beaches. We ventured into Quimper and had a wonderful reception at a little bistrot (bistrot de la cathedrale) - they were so welcoming and generous! Highly recommend! Sylvie - thank you. We had a fantastic time at your beautiful property and cannot thank you enough! The family Thomas!

Great holiday

Sylvie was an excellent hostess. We had a great holiday despite the poor weather as there are lots of activities to occupy all ages. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the house very spacious. Doelan is a picturesque village with very nice bar/restaurant. My only reservation is that at 27 degrees, the pool water is too cool when it is cold outside.

Fantastic Holiday!!!

We had an amazing holiday from start to finish! On route to the villa, Sylvie kept in contact with us to ensure she could greet us on arrival, and WOW, what a greeting, a tour of the villa and a gift of home made crepes and cider, which to our delight was delicious! The villa itself was comfortable and welcoming, with the heart of the home being the open plan kitchen and living room with views to the indoor pool! Two doubles downstairs with a toilet and bathroom then 4 rooms ( 1 double, 3 twin upstairs with another bathroom and toilet) plenty of space with 2 families and grandma in tow! Beautiful scenery in the surrounding area, with lots of local bakeries! We ventured out a lot by car and enjoyed Lorient just 30 minutes away! We then could not wait to get back to the villa to enjoy a sauna and hot tub, then an evening of games with pool table football and darts! To top it of, a fantastic night's sleep in the comfortable beds, a home from home, we will definitely return! Thanks for having us Sylvie, Beautiful person Beautiful home ❤

Beyond expectations!

We are 3 generations aged from 4 to 75. The property was ideal and enjoyed by all. Plenty of space, inside and out, and so well equipped. The covered pool was well used, and ideal for the odd day of inclement weather, when we could all relax while the kids played in the pool. Local blue flag beaches are amazing, vast expanses of sand with rock pools, and so few people. We would certainly recommend this property, for space, facilities, and location.

Perfect week

The whole family really enjoyed our week at Doelen. The House is fantastic, and perfect for all tastes, relaxing or energetic, it has so much to offer. The area is beautiful, with so many places to visit. We were blessed with beautiful weather which made it the perfect break.

Perfect stay

Lovely modern accommodation just a few minutes walk from a picturesque harbour. As a family of 3 couples plus a grandchild we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub plus the location close to some fabulous beaches at Pouldou, the adults enjoyed walking down to the harbour in the evening for a drink on the quayside, and during the day the range of activities, walking in the forest and along the coastal path, surfing, or visiting local markets.

Watson family holiday

Absolutely perfect for our family holiday, the villa had everything we needed and more . We loved every thing about it the villa, the location all just perfect. Lovely stay in this gorgeous house in beautiful location

The house is truly gorgeous and so well equipped. We were a 3 generation family party, ages from 11 to 80 and everyone was delighted with the house and the location. Doelan itself is a quiet fishing port, has the feel of a French holiday place, very very few tourists from abroad (which we loved). All the locals very happy for us to try our basic French! The pool at the house was very well used by the kids, the spa by the grown ups and all the indoor games by everyone! Sylvie was very accommodating and helpful through the process, giving us several (excellent) restaurant and in house catering recommendations, market day details and directions for beaches. Les Saveurs du Puits (in Moelan) was a real treat for dinner, Crepes by Coraline (in house) was lovely too. The coastal path from the port of Doelan along towards Pouldu is a must - great for a morning run or a long walk - several secluded and beautiful beaches along the way. Another run route that we'd recommend is a circular one up to Clohars and back (about 5 miles). So many things to do in the near vicinity of Doelan - one of our best days was a trip to the Glenan islands, about an hour boat trip from Concarneau, we then hired kayaks and went between islands and enjoyed the clear water and beautiful beaches. Take plenty of water and food though. We had a lovely week and would thoroughly recommend.

Superb property in a stunning location

From the minute we drove into rue de keruster we were overjoyed that we could see the sea the house is in a lovely quiet setting within minutes walk of the harbour and very close to an amazing beach. The house and enclosed garden is amazing had everything we needed and more and sylvie and her sister were both friendly and welcoming the site does not do it justice rooms are large and open plan and perfect for a large family holiday with 4 generations The pool was amazing and the hot tub very popular too all in all a wonderful holiday , thank you sylvie

The house was amazing! The owners have thought of everything and kept it immaculate.

The house is on a quiet estate of similar homes all within 5mins of the coastal paths and short walk into Doelan. We were a family of 4 with a small dog and therefore had a large home with plenty of facilities to keep us all entertained. There is two large bathrooms (one with a bath and shower) to look after 6 bedrooms (3 doubles and 3 twins). The kitchen was beautiful with all top quality appliances. The owners have provided every cooking utensil anyone could think of! All of top quality too. Therefore should 12 people be in the house - there’s plenty of plates/glasses to go around plus there’s two large dining tables inside and outside. There are also 3 games rooms! One part of an extended bedroom suite which had a TV with Wii and games/sofa etc. Another with a pool table and music, plus a 3rd room with table football and an electric darts game. There is also 3 balcony’s too off bedrooms! Within the house is a large utility room with washer and dryer plus all other items you would expect and acted as a great drying room too. The pool was great too and heated - all under a glass roof with plenty of seating. Within the garage is a sauna and outside is a large hot tub. Plus table tennis and a large garden to play other games. The house is also gated and pool Area is not overlooked by anyone. All in all the house was immaculate. Spotless and catered for everything. The owner Sylvie was lovely and welcoming plus very helpful too. Thank you Sylvie for a great holiday and your home is beautiful.

This outstanding property is a wonderful place to have a holiday.

The property is a large house, immaculately maintained, with a wide range of facilities (a lovely pool, hot tub, and sauna, and a range of other activities eg pool table. There is plenty of space to park several cars, and a wide lawn area that can be used for relaxing, playing games eg a table tennis table is provided, and other activities. The weather was glorious during our stay and we made extensive use of the pool and hot tub during the hotter parts of the day. There are several lovely beaches in the Pouldu area which, again, we made daily use of. Port Doelan is a real jewel and only a short stroll away from the house. It is incredibly picturesque and calming, with a couple of restaurants and a bar. Sit on the edge of the creek and watch the boats coming and going, A great holiday in a wonderful location.

A beautiful place to relax

We arrived to a warm welcome from sylvie the owner and was blown away by the fantastic holiday home that we had booked . If you think it looks good in the photos then you will not be disappointed with the real thing . The whole place was immaculate including the gardens . This holiday home is all that it promises and more . A perfect place to relax and unwind within a five minute easy walk to a few coves just across the way and a lovely old port just to the side . I can also recommend a trip to concanare it’s about a forty minute drive away we’re you will find an array of lovely little tourist shops that are within an old fortress along side the harbour . It’s a ten out of ten for the osbourn family. Thankyou sylvie it was one to remember !!! we shall return.

Super week end en famille propriété bien situee tres fonctionnelle propreté irréprochable u.e hôte tres agreable et tres arrangeante pour nos heures d arrivee et de depart je recommande cette location le seul petit bemol est la.pisckne est chauffee mais pas la veranda sous laquel elle ce trouve donc un week end de pluie et de tempete avec les enfants yn.peu juste
