It was great. Stayed there before. Used to live in the community. Nice upgrades! Only thing - being a senior (short) the bed was so tall I had to use a chair. But fine.💜
Bed was terrible way to soft with squeaky headboard, room smelled musty and of mold, (both of us felt sick from smell) very very tiny room , bathroom faucet almost pulled out of wall and hot water in evening lasted under 5 minutes,
Bathroom updated but rest of room very very old. Owner friendly and understanding and was going to reimburse us for 2nd night as we wouldn't stay there another night. BUT booked through expedia so couldn't.
perhaps other rooms updated and better but not the one we stayed in.
Got everything we needed. We liked that there was a bar fridge with freezer compartment. We were able to freeze back our freezer packs for the cooler. Room was clean and bed comfortable. The TV in the evening was lagging and freezing but not in the morning. Maybe too many people at once on the network? Overall very happy with our stay and will definitely come back.

Staff was very friendly. Outside appearance of inn very simple. Room was great for what we needed as most of the time we just needed the room to sleep.
I was quite disappointed in what we received and had to deal with for the $160 a night we paid! Parking was crammed, we passed it at first as we thought it was an abandoned building. The guy who checked us in was great but upon arrival to our room we found the heater turned up to 30 ( it was currently 32 outside), there was a portable air conditioner in the room that was too small for the size of room and the bathroom had dirt and mold on the floor, the ceiling was peeling and there was a hold with a pot light where the fan should have gone! We started the AC at 5pm as well as a fan to hopefully get the air moving. By 8am we were able to drop the temperature in the room to 24. Between my husband, my daughter and myself we managed to get maybe 4 hours of sleep.
It's right next to highway so hear trucks all night also a across from only convenience store so lots of drug addicts and bums hanging around all day and night wondering around motel too
Within walking distance to a multitude of different stores and restaurants. Could be a better marked and layout for more convenient parking for some of the units
It was clean enough and the staff was friendly. Was a little disappointed that the WiFi and Tv where not working. But as the manager explained they are still worki g som kinks out qith the renos. So that was understandable. I was pleased with my stay in all. I would stay again.

The Paddock Inn is a good little motel. Everything you may need is within walking distance. The manager was friendly and very accommodating and the price is right. The Paddock Inn is pet friendly, just make sure you choose a pet friendly room when making a reservation if you make one.
We will go back there next time we are in The Crowsnest for a weekend.
How this place gets to eight out of 10 stars I have no idea. The floors aren't even level as you can feel the difference moving from one side of the room to another.
The bathtub is so old that it doesn't even have an overflow drain and the toilet didn't seem to be attached to the floor whatsoever. I do even took a short video of me, moving it around substantially to the point where I was even scared to use it in case it would break loose from the floor. This site will not allow me to download the eight second video so you'll have to take my word for it.
There are definitely better accommodations and this place should be avoided...
Our room was adequate. Things that we missed were outdoor garbage cans and a plug-in in the bathroom. There was a note in the bathroom that said the hairdryer was under the sink. The hairdryer was there but there was no plug-in in the bathroom and no other mirrors in the room. The bed was very high and almost impossible for my husband (who uses two canes for mobility) to get into.
