Slow Start but Overall Very Good Stay
Overall my family and I had a very good stay. When we arrived the check in went very smooth but once settled in for the evening we had a little issue getting the TV to work. After trying to figure it out for a while I reached out to the contact person and shortly after received a text and phone call from the owner to assist with the process of using their TV / Cable box and finding the remotes. Owner even provided a credit for our troubles. Would suggest creating some instruction on how to use their TV/Cable box and putting some Drain-O in the Sink of he front bathroom as it seems to back up when only running small amounts of water. Notice a few items broken in back yard (Door Screen and Ceiling Fan) but because we were there for a week long class we had no use for the back yard and didn't go out again after the first day we arrived to look the place over. Overall the stay was very good. Would definitely recommend and if I had a need in the area again this would be my first choice.

Family Weekend
While visiting with our daughter's family, we stayed in this cute little 2BR house. While it was a bit ourdated, it had everything we needed and was close to restaurants, stores, entertainment...etc. check-in/out was simple. Would stay here again.

All the furniture seems like used, goodwill furniture. Showers are for people under 5'3 or else you have to squat. Only 1 tv in living room and cable never worked. Definitely needs a bit more work. It was clean for the most part.

Cute house, but a few surprises
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house is very cute and satisfied our needs. It was clean. It is decorated very cutely in the living room. However, there were a few surprises. The master bathroom is missing all the towel bars and bathtub safety bar, & toilet paper holder (as was mentioned in a review from Sep 2022-so, sadly, no upgrades made in over a year). Also, someone mentioned in an earlier review that the kitchen was well-appointed; however, I disagree. As someone who loves cooking and cooks regularly the kitchen was just adequate. Most of the cooking utensils were cheap plastic like the kind that you are given when you get a large take-out order from a place like Dickies BBQ. There were no cutting boards; luckily our Aggie was able to loan us one for our visit. Also, the master bedroom mattress was very soft (maybe good for those who like to sink into a mattress) and the pillows were lumpy from washing which made sleeping a challenge. With a little more TLC this place would be 5-star.

Great game weekend
Easy check-in. House was clean and spacious. Rollaway bed was a nice addition. The couches are definitely worn but no visible stains/rips just seem older. 10 mins from A&M campus and close proximity to stores and restaurants. Extra blankets and pillows was great and even had some laundry detergent and toiletries. Would stay again.

Home cooking and Egg hunting for all
Loved this rental for our long Easter weekend visiting our Aggie! It was so nice to be able to relax, prepare our own meals in the well-appointed kitchen and spend family time altogether. Big brother had reliable wifi with which to study (and the bandwidth supported the rest of our devices). The outdoor space in the backyard was a great bonus for some nice family pictures and the serious egg hunt our teens still expect! Will definitely rent here again.

Game day rental
This home had good and bad things. Mostly good. It was close to A&M and the town for visits to students or to see a game. It was a cute little home. Would have preferred lawn to have been mowed before arrival. Back yard was too long to enjoy fire pit Friday. They did mow mid-day Saturday. A little extra cleaning is in order as blinds and window seals are really dusty! But, the rest of the home was clean. Several things are broken and need replaced (toilet paper holder, towel racks, bathtub safety bar and tub drain/ stopper) but it didn’t affect our short stay. With a little extra work- this would be a nice affordable weekend rental.

Not our typical review...by no means
House did not smell clean and fresh/not sanitized for sure. (Covid is not over); furniture surfaces dusty/some sticky/kitchen table had old food particles(I cleaned all); did not use kitchen towels/smelled musty (used paper towels to dry dishes/utensils); had to turn fridge way below normal setting/gal. of milk, head lettuce and coleslaw froze; sofa facing TV was like sitting in a big hole; towel racks were broken, as well as the small metal bars just above both bathtubs' soap shelves (VERY dangerous if one decides to hold onto). Overall, the flooring seemed okay. Also, guests should not have to check out BEFORE 10am, wash/put away dishes, strip beds and pile linens on the floor, take all trash out to container. We always leave a rental the way we find it, but this time, we left it cleaner than we found it. Guests pay for cleaning services! Three years ago, we stayed in a Vrbo house several houses down from this last one, and it was super clean, fresh, well stocked and beautifully homey and comfortable. I prefer for this review to not be published, because we do not want to see people fail. The property manager, Darlene, said that she has a cleaning service and hasn't checked on this property in a while. That was obvious! The base price of this rental was beyond reasonable, but that's no excuse for all of the above.

it was perfect for what we needed
We were dropping my daughter off at Texas A&M for a summer Research internship. It was close by so we could go back and forth. House had everything we needed to be able to stay close by. The outside light by the garage never came on as we would arrive at night so that was a bit dark. Only real issue we had was in the master batheroom, the towel rack was gone (brackets were still there) and the shower head was so low I had to bend down to rinse off. I am 5'6. Everything else was fine. We enjoyed sitting out on the bad deck for breakfast in the morning.
