Cheyenne Mountain Resort, a Destination by Hyatt Hotels offers 316 air-conditioned accommodations with a safe and complimentary bottles of water. Rooms open to balconies or patios. It’s very beautiful. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for the property is the cabins are a little aged and there were wasp nests in the wood paneling of the balconies. Wasps didn’t bother us but others might not like that.

We were put in the Clear Creek. I'm not sure how old the building is, but it was wood framing which was fine. The problem was we were on the first floor and the room above's floor system squeaked like crazy. I'm not sure why the occupants moved around so much, but the floor was constantly squeaking everywhere they walked. My wife also found bugs and spiders in the bathroom area.

We only stayed here one night, pretty quick stay to just get some rest before hitting the road,I What a beautiful resort! I wish we could have had more time to enjoy and especially go to the pool - We could see the pool from our balcony and it was beautiful! The receptionist was very nice, It was a little tricky to find our room at first, but that’s going to happen because the property is so big! The balcony/patio was very nice, we sat out there in the morning to enjoy coffee — There was an apple tree in our “Backyard” and we saw the cutest cottontail bunny, eating a fallen green apple, it was really adorable and such a great memory.

Good location. Room and bathroom could have been a little cleaner. We had a few issues with the staff while we were there, but nothing that ruined our stay. Seemed like they were short handed and had poor communication. Great place for kids of all ages.
