The Space:
Full of character, with arched doorways and hardwood floors throughout, Tava House is thoughtfully outfitted with your comfort, rest, and delight in mind! Kick off your shoes in the mud room and get ready to feel right at home in this immaculate and completely remodeled 1919 cabin.
+ Living room is bright and spacious with large screen TV connected to streaming platforms (no local channels) and fast wifi.
+ Fully-equipped kitchen comes with all the tools you'll need to make everything from your morning coffee to a nice evening meal. Mountain views at the table for 4 with comfortable high-backed chairs.
+ Bedrooms have amazing memory foam mattresses--one room has a king, one room has two twin beds.
+ The bright and newly remodeled shared bathroom has a beautiful claw-foot tub for your soaking delight.
+ Gas grill and lovely alcove with covered outdoor dining for 6. Grilling tools provided.
+ Hot tub for your relaxation and enjoyment.
Sorry but the interior of the house is not 420 friendly.

Guest Access:
You'll have access to the whole house. Our team sets out linens appropriate to the number of people on your reservation so please make sure your reservation accurately reflects the number in your party. Be aware that we charge a $30/night fee for additional guests after 4.
Check in is at 5pm and check out time is by 10am. We do our best to accommodate early check in and/or late check out requests. We offer these based upon our housekeeping team's approval as their schedule can be demanding and for an additional fee. Please note, the earliest check in time available is 2pm and the latest checkout time we can accommodate is noon.
You will have access to the entire fenced yard during your stay. Please note, we have routine lawn care & mowing every other Thursday during the Spring and Summer. Our crew will do their best to be quick and quiet as to not disrupt your stay in any way. You may see the homeowner working on the landscaping and grounds outside the property as well.
The Neighborhood:
Enjoy a 15 min walk or 3 minute drive to downtown Old Colorado City, 10 minute drive to downtown Colorado Springs and a 5 minute drive to downtown Manitou Springs. Less than 1 mile to beautiful Garden of the Gods and to the mountain biking trails at Red Rocks Canyon!
This home is located in the Westside of Colorado Springs (very close to Manitou Springs) which has a funky & quirky feel. Personally, we love the feeling of not being in a suburban neighborhood, however people have different responses to the setting. A large Apache Chief mural with headdress (added since our photo session) is viewable across the street at the boutique Apache Hotel facing the home. It is visible from the kitchen table.
Getting Around:
Colorado Avenue has several bus routes, and lots of people bike around but most of our guests bring their own vehicles.
Other Things to Note:
+ Sleep in peace on our super soft linens which were laundered in a professional facility to ensure the highest possible amount of viruses and bacteria are utterly destroyed.
+ We reserve the right to collect ID directly from our guests before allowing access to the property. This is in addition to identification you may be asked to provide to the booking platform.
