We thought this was the baymont where we stayed before. Definitely not Baymont quality. One person front desk didnt speak any English, one barely did. Toilet and sink problems while there. Wont stay there again for sure.

Not well kept up facility. Garbage bins overfilled. Rugs not vacuumed. Pictures in room and TV crooked. No power outlets at desk. Building still says LaQuinta. No one at front desk for check out.

The hotel must have just changed from La Quinta to Baymont. All but 1 sign outside visible from the road still said La Quinta. I circled the hotel trying to find Baymont until I finally saw the 1 sign that said Baymont.

Dated, mowing needed around parking lot, drapery falling, poor plumbing. The room was clean though, that’s the reason we decided to stay. Trip was only passing through for one night.

Rooms smelled of cigarette smoke and other lingering odors. Bedding was stained. Smoke dectector was hanging from ceiling in one of our rooms. Property is over 20 years old and it doesn’t appear much has been done to update it. Wouldn’t wanted to spend more than 1 night there.

Our check in time was 12:30 and when we got there at 3:30 the room was not cleaned and was still dirty from the last guest. They claimed they had no idea who booked the room but said they would give us a new room. In the new room the locks were barley on the door and were so lose they didn’t work

Ok you value shoppers. This review is for you. My wife and I were having a weekend trip to Columbia and were not going to, did not, spend much time at the motel. Pros: Low cost, easy access to anywhere in Columbia 10 to 15 minutes to town / campus. Clean. Friendly enough staff. Room was spacious. Quiet except for about 4 :00. Breakfast bar was good. Cons: This is an older (rooms look new) motel and it had just a bit of an old motel smell in hallways. Fire alarm went off in the hallway at 4 in the morning but it was not a fire. Maybe someone smoking? Did not ruin the stay.
