Great Stay

The house was as advertising and the check-in/check-out was smooth. There was a small problem with the alarm but otherwise everything was great.

Great location to downtown and a lot of walkway to walk.Parking is free on the Street and we enjoyed our stay for the week.

I usually don’t bother to write reviews but I felt like future potential guests should be aware. The neighborhood felt generally safe to us when we arrived but we made sure to diligently lock our car and the house. However, our child ran out to retrieve a toy from the car one time and forgot to lock it. We later found our car had been broken into shortly afterwards. I’m guessing neighbors have caught onto the fact this house is a vacation rental and they are watching for opportunities, being that it was unlocked for such a short period of time. We also found a rat in our bedroom and had a heck of a time trapping it. This made us feel uneasy that there might be more in the house. We informed the host of these two instances and they replied by saying we should be more careful locking our car and that they’d find an exterminator. No compensation was given. Other than all that, the house was as pictured, relatively clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and we cautiously enjoyed the rest of our stay.
