The hotel was very aggressive in assuring that I was out of my room AT OR BEFORE 11am. I had emails when I woke up, housekeeping knocking on my do not disturbed door at 10am, phone calls from the front desk at 10:15 and 10:30, and the final knock at 10:59 as I was trying to walk out of the room. Please leave guests in peace- we all know the rules and you have our cc number on file. Won’t be back at this La Quinta. Also, there was an odd odor permeating the halls.

Room was comfy. TV had a variety of channels to choose from. Annoyed at a text that came through at 8am asking what time we’d be checking out. Then they called the room phone confirming we’d be checking out at 11am. It’s as simple f they couldn’t wait wait for us to leave.

Clean and far away from main roads to be quiet. Close enough to main roads to still be convenient. Breakfast was as good or better than most. I dont like their policy stating all food must be eaten in serving area. Part of a relaxing weekend for me is "breakfast in bed", which my awesome wife would be more than happy to provide if not for the policy. It seems to becoming the norm though. I did note plenty of guests were ignoring the sign/policy. Check in process was redundant. I completed the online check in about 8 hours before arrival. I then had to go through same process when i arrived. What's the point of online check in? Sheets and towels were standard hotel issue, but were clean. Bed was hard and in desperate need of a topper of some sort. Both my wife and I had sore backs/hips after sleeping here for 3 nights. The tub/shower in our room did not drain properly and had a depression in the middle that held water. Our "suite" had nowhere to sit other than the bed or a rolling desk chair. It did have a jetted tub (separate from the shower) the side of which ended up being utilized as a bench. Appears to be a fairly new facility, mostly well maintained, but built as cheaply as possible (like most modern construction). Overall not bad, just not great.
