This was a cost effective over night for a long trip. Was pretty much what I expected, just hoped it would be a little cleaner. One of the pillows on the bed was crumpled up and didn't have a pillow case at all. Not sure what that was about.

you get what you paid for / not terrible though
Rooms were very tiny but it was good for what we needed it for. I found a couple of different types of bugs crawling around, & you can tell they don’t scrub the baseboards often & such. The hotel staff wasn’t necessarily rude, but you could tell they didn’t want to be there & i get it! I didn’t take offense to it.

Affordable savings
Decent sized room, however the shower was meant for a handicap and the floor got wet pretty quickly in shower. The pressure of the faucet was just drips and not strong enough at all. Towels for body are very small and definitely past their shelf life. Overall though, it’s close to where I needed to be and Cookeville is charming.
