From the moment we entered we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The rooms are on the smaller side but decorated nicely and everything was extremely clean. Jasmine in reception along with Ricky and Luke serving beers and cocktails bent over backwards to ensure we were having a great time celebrating two 50th birthdays, we will definitely stay here again if back in Cork!

The hotel has only been open 6 weeks, so looked brand new. The rooms were comfy and quirky, I didn’t eat dinner at the hotel but did use the bar and had breakfast.

Needs better pillows and mattresses
The location was great. The town was very walkable and it was a 15 minute walk from the furthest attraction. We haven’t stayed at a Moxy before. You get a cocktail at check in so that was pretty neat. We had two pillows for two people and the mattress was ok but a bit uncomfortable which is not like the typical Marriott. They share a gym with the residence inn. There’s also a laundry room but this is exclusively for the other hotel. I wish this was clearly marked on the sign as that was pretty disappointing.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was great. The room, facilities and fitness room were newly appointed and very welcoming. The breakfast included a wide variety of great options. I would definitely stay again..
