Forget the pets...
No pet policy is the best. I wasn't awakened by a yapping lap dog. I wasn't wondering how many places a dog had wiped its butt or peed in my room and no dog smell, which is very hard to hide. I know Comfort is probably taking some static for this, but its a good move for guests and the hotel in saving on complaints, limited life of carpet, bedding and furnishings due to pet damage.

I booked this property and once I got to the hotel(15 minutes later), there were homeless people lingering around and the hotel was under construction. I asked the manager to cancel my room, she said no. I messaged Expedia, they said no and to call the hotel and ask for a waiver. I called and the lady said the manager left and had denied the request so the answer was no. Unreasonable cancellation policy. Very disappointed. Find another property to stay when visiting this area of Texas
