Girls Weekend
This was our second time staying here and we love it for the peace and tranquility of the location, the well furnished space and roominess and most of all the happy decor! It is located close to Coupeville for fun shopping jaunts to the stores and restaurants but we make most of our meals in the kitchen. No matter what the weather, the covered porch overlooking Penn Cove is a great hangout spot for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening while watching the posse of curious harbor seals cruise by.

We loved our stay at this house. We watched seals from the window and enjoyed the peaceful cove. The aesthetic of the house was incredible too - playful and relaxing at the same time. Super clean, and just as pictured.

Retro Charm right on the beach
This place is adorable and spacious and has all of the comforts of home. Add in that it is right on the beach, and our get away couldn't get any better. We don't live far from Coupeville, but when when arrived at this place, we felt far away from home and like we were on a true vacation! Every detail was thought of. The interior design was 1970's perfect...from the colors and furniture, to the record player and albums (that we played!), to the pictures on the wall...that included Tab and hostess cupcakes !!! Most importantly it was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. A fully equipped kitchen, nice bed linens with more to spare, a fantastic outdoor fire pit with blankets available for chilly nights, and the list goes on. LOCATION made it even more over the top. Right on the beach...oh yeah!

Great view but Mussel business next door
Penn Cove was an interesting, fun place to explore. The beach house was a nice place to call home on our holiday. Loved the porch and fire pit. The one thing we did not know : an active, mussel harvesting company was right next door. Trucks and boats arrive around 6 am. We were ok with it but would have liked to know before booking.

Colorful Cottage
Colorful Cottage on Good Beach Lane was a perfect spot for me (82yr), daughter (40+), and granddaughter (11yr) to relax, get cozy on the couches, watch movies on the big screen TV, and sit on the porch and watch working boats of the shellfish company that had a boat launch nearby. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We hope to return for another stay to again enjoy the serene scenery.

Cozy, cute home in the perfect location.
We really loved our stay at this little house! The cove is so cute and the house was warm, clean, and cozy. The beach vibe was fun and the beds were comfortable. Our only regret was having to deal with Vacasa. We had a few issues and they were awful to deal with, but once we finally were out in touch with someone local, she resolved our issues (just took two days to finally be connected to someone local). This is a great home and location for a chill, relaxing trip and we had so much fun exploring the surrounding area.

Wonderful rental and location
We had a wonderful time at the rental. It was clean, decorated nicely, comfortable beds and furniture, and well equipped kitchen. We loved that it was on the beach and so conveniently located to the towns and restaurants. I gave it an overall five star rating because the place was so delightful. The check-in was not so great. It was very cold and rainy. We tried using the code which didn't work. I called the number and got someone I could hardly hear or understand. He gave us about 4 different codes to use, which didn't work. He finally gave us the code for the lock box. It took about 20 minutes to get into the house. Other then that, everything was perfect! We will definitely go there again!

Great, clean property right on the cove!
Our family of 4 really enjoyed this place. The house is right on the water, with direct access to the beach. Convenient location near town. The house was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked, and there are games and a record player we enjoyed when it was rainy. We'll be back!

Great Location, Great View, Cute Decor, but it's a trailer...
The place is fabulous, albeit the fact that it is a trailer (which explains why the bathrooms have not been redone). Decor is fun and colorful, location is great, view of Mount Baker is stunning, kitchen is well-stocked, beds are comfortable, but the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. The home had everything we needed. Returning in the summer would be nice as the porch is right on the water. Plenty of room for 4-6 people, but more might be a crowd. In you call Vacasa, you are directed to a third-party call center. We had to call twice. First, the entry code we were given did not work, so we called & the code the rep gave us did not work. We were finally directed to a lockbox with a key. Second, there was a terrible odor that we called & reported on arrival & were told they would contact their local agent and let us know; 24 hrs later we had no call back, so we called again. The Vacasa rep said it was probably a dead animal & would be removed Monday (the day left). When I said I would leave that in my review, they connected me to a local realtor who explained the smell was from the water during low tide; still not sure if that was accurate. It did not impact our stay - the place was still great, but we were aware of the smell in one part of the home. Overall, recommend staying here at least for a weekend away. Aside from Vacasa not being local & the bathrooms needing remodel, the trailer is outfitted with everything you need for a fun weekend on the island.

Beautiful Location
This property lived up to the photos and more! The house is amazingly designed, very comfortable with all the things you need to make the stay comfortable. The waterfront location can’t be beat. We sat out and watched the sea lions, fish and crabs in the water and the beautiful views from sunrise to sunset. There’s lots to do on the island too if you can get yourself to leave 😊 Especially loved the fire pit, porch seating, easy tv setup and roomy kitchen. Hope to come back again one day!

Shoreline Perfection
Stellar, picture perfect bayside home, with fantastic views from every room facing the bay, with glimpses of Mount Baker, with even a few harbor seals lazing in the waters right off shore. Every which way you turn inside is a picture worthy angle. Super decor was fun, elegant and comfy. Multiple seating areas all well planned with everything you might need and an amply stocked kitchen. And don't get me started about that awesome front (well actually back) deck, just feet from the bay where we watched the seals play and fish. Off to the side is the Penn Cove mussel nursery and they do offload crates for shipping all over the world. But it's a quiet and a fun thing just to watch. This may be the best vacation rental we've ever stayed at. Would absolutely stay again. Coupeville's cute downtown is just minutes away and we found a great little grocery, Prairie Center Red Apple Market that had lots of fresh fruit, local bread and everything this foodie family enjoys. Oh and if you can grab a pound of those delicious Penn Cove mussels from Tobey's like we did, or gather them from the bay you'll be treated to a rare treat. Truly a great place to make vacation memories.
