Quick trip
Our only complaint was the sulfer smell from the water. The house was very cozy & the view was spectacular.

Cute cabin
Quaint, cute place with great water view and accessibility. The upstairs shower didn’t have any water…just a trickle. Seems like it couldn't pump the water upstairs. The water was sulfur water, and made the whole place smell bad every time you turned on the water.

Good for what we needed
House is cute with a nice view. If you want to take advantage of the lake, bring paddle boards or other water sport toys. Unfortunately the house was not thoroughly clean. Upon walking in we found dog hair on the stairs and on two of the beds. The shower curtain liners were yellowed and filthy. A good housecleaner and a few bucks at Walmart can easily fix these things and would make a world of difference. Overall a good experience.

Great retreat
Excellent quiet getaway for the family of four -- and the dog-- with a stunning lakeside view. We also really liked the kitchen and common areas for hanging out, the private street, and the wildlife in the area. It had easy access to many local attractions, such as the family-favorite ferry across the lake to Vermont.

Summer vacation 2024
The house was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It has a rustic cabin feel but with modern amenities. The view of the is lake spectacular. It is a bit rural, but easy access to the Ticonderoga and Adirondack area. The host is very attentive and accommodating.

Very nice stay for the eclipse
Pictures online undersell this little cottage. The layout is family friendly and also completely suitable for a couple or even individual stay. The owner was very responsive and the property showed pride in ownership. Plenty of towels and bedding were provided. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and such. Checkout was easy and uncomplicated, as was check-in. We were happy to be greeted with an already warm cottage when we arrived in unseasonably chilly temps. The deck overlooking the lake was lovely. Bottled water was needed at this property at the time of our stay, which was not advertised; an unexpected detraction in an overall lovely weekend stay. There are some renovations ongoing, especially on the path down to the lake. I can only imagine these renovations will result in an even more attractive lake getaway.

Great Location, OK accomodation
This was a decent place to stay-much more of a rustic/cabin feel with places in the house that looked unfinished and rushed. The window treatments were lacking and while a washer/dryer was advertised, the dryer did not work. We also did not get any check in instructions beforehand though the owner did respond within 10 minutes of arriving. There was some dirty laundry in a hamper in the bedroom. We did enjoy the deck and the close proximity to the lake.

Adorable Lake Cottage
Had a great Christmas in May with our Vermont and New Jersey family. The cottage was adorable and the view amazing. Overall quiet and comfortable. It needs a dining table and chairs inside.

Chouette chalet
Sympathique chalet, mais il manque un peu de place pour manger si on est plus que 4. Le propriétaire était très réactif.
