Too hot in the room for check in.
A/C was set at 84 degrees in the room when I walked in on a day that it was 111 degrees heat index. I sweated for over an hour and a half until it finally cooled down. A co-worker in another room walked into a cool room on the same day. Consistency with housekeeping/guest services would be good for incoming guests. Other than that, it was a good stay.

I drove 12 hours to this hotel. They called me 10 minutes before I got to the hotel to tell me my room wasn’t available because there was an issue with the people above the room I was supposed to be staying in. I was told sorry for the inconvenience and to find someone else to accommodate me. My daughters and I were left stranded in Dallas at 1am with no place to go! To make matters worse they drafted the hotel deposit from my account the next day. Worst hotel ever!

This property was perfect for our stay in Las Colinas. They do need to do some maintnenance (rotting wood on the eaves, paint peeling) as this is a much older property than most of the other hotels in the area.

Overall the stay was not pleasant. The day we checked in, the pool was closed. The following day nobody went in to clean. On one of the days there were homeless people on the side of the hotel laying on the grass sleeping. The bathtub had mold. I didn’t think of taking any pictures because the hotel was not anything I care to remember of this trip.

Awesome Staff. Property in Disrepair.
First, the staff are wonderful and genuinely want to ensure that the guests are comfortable. Second, the property is in disrepair. The door to the condo looks as if it had been kicked or forced open and it didn’t fully seal at the lower edge. A cabinet handle in one bathroom is broken and all the cabinets are very worn. There is evidence of water damage on the baseboards in the primary bathroom. The dishwasher is loose in its space, as if it had been pulled out at one point. The carpet is torn near the primary bedroom. Also, there are roaches (five) in the kitchen and two in the bathroom. (Note: all food kept in the refrigerator to prevent attracting insects.) In spite of the wonderful customer service, I will not book the Hyatt House in Las Colinas again until it is fully renovated.

Very nice property and hotel other than a few things that could use some attention, the doors including the front door needs adjusting, we could see lots of light through the bottom and sides. Same with the interior doors.

We had stayed here before and it was great so we came back, but this time, there had been a leak apparently and they didnt bother to tell us until we arrived. One of the rooms had a piece of board covering a hole in the cieling where the leak was and the mess was not even cleaned up. We were there were no other rooms available and we had not time to look for another hotel. I was so upset no one had communicated eith us and the area was filthy.

The room had water damage and a hole in the ceiling. They boarded it up and put me and my family in there. They did offer to love us only if someone checked out and that didn’t happened. I called the 3rd party company and they did give a discount on our stay. The property just needs a few upgrades the location wasn’t bad.
