Price good but needs updating

It is an older hotel and needs updating. Our room faced the road and was noisy. We were going to a Mavericks game, and it is close to the arena. The breakfast was very good. When my husband went down to get coffee the desk clerk was asleep with her head down on the desk and never woke up.

Great Stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The room was large and very clean. We did feel that there could have been more drawers to hold clothing but there were other options so it wasn't a big deal. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day. There was a good variety of food and beverages and the staff were very friendly. The location of the hotel was ideal because we needed to travel several times to Uptown which was only a five minute drive. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Mediocre at best-

Check in was very slow and the clerk spoke very low and mumbled most of the time. Was a line for check in and another worker just stat at the other computer rather than help to check guests in. Stay was decent but hotel is very dated and is need of a revamp to truly represent the HYATT name. Breakfast was very very bland and was barely edible. Not one of my best hotel stays.

Inflexible and poor customer care or retention. o

The people that worked at the hotel were very nice, happy and very kind. The management however was very inflexible in working with us regarding an overbooking problem. We paid over $300 plus(due Dallas being full due to an Apparel Market and several other)). The hotel was in no condition to be charing that rate.
