Excellent guest desk services and restaurant staff. Most memorable of the trip is the service provided by wait staff Betty and manage Alex. Betty served every customer with a smile. Even during high volume, Betty did not let that reflect in her face neither her service. Alex was an awesome restaurant manager, he just jumped right in to help support his staff. Love it.

The hotel is nice, but it’s quite noisy being next to the railroad. Our room was also right next to the elevators so we heard those and trains all night long. Downtown Dallas is not a very nice place. Between the bums and the tweakers, I didn’t feel very safe walking around. Although I liked the hotel and staff, I probably won’t stay here again.

Awesome time to begin the new year 2025
It was New Year’s Eve and the hotel stay was great and the fireworks from the reunion tower adjacent to the hotel at midnight New Year’s Day was amazing. There were lots of people staying at this hotel, and the atmosphere was charged with excitement.

We stayed on New Year's Eve to view the fireworks in the Reunion Tower. However, There's conflicting information from staff on how to view it. The reception staff told us to be in the lobby at 11:15 and a staff will escort us to the viewing section. At 11:14, I asked a concierge and they told me just to walk outside, and follow the crowd. Then, there's a sign like VIP Viewing. When I talked to the reception staff, they said it was for the Crown Block viewing and there may be a charge. When I asked staff manning the escalator, it was free and supposed to be the one we had to follow to view the fireworks on the lawn. I expected well-informed staff on this occasion as we are paying through the roof hotel room rate on this special day. My opinion, don't pay the $500 room rate on NYE. Book a cheaper hotel somewhere, park near the reunion tower or downtown and you can see the Reunion fireworks. Also, the staff said when we were checking in that since the valet was full that night, we had to park on Lot A. I asked how do we pay and they said it's free. When we checked out, we asked how we got our car and they said, just show the room key. We don't have to return the key. Turned out they charged us $30 for parking and we didn't need the room key to get out of the parking lot!

Stayed New Years eve. So was expecting some nonsense. But not this. Valet "sold out". Had to park about a 15 min walk from hotel. I had knee surgery 3 weeks prior. Ordered room service. Sold out of all food options. Only booze left. Got 2 bottles of wine for $120 but delivered in a paper bag with glases clanking around loose. Surprised nothing was broken. Have they never had a full house before? Wtheck
