I should have checked prior to booking about whether or not there was a hot tub. I guess i assumed since it was such a nice place. I changed into swim suit and went to front desk and asked where the hot tub was and i was tokd there was no hot tub. That was my only complaint. Everything else was super nice. The bartenders at the bar were all super friendly and keot us entertained and drinks full. Beautifully decorated f9r Christmas as well. I recommend this hotel unless you are like me andjust want a night to relax in a hot tub.

Hotel is next to Reunion Tower, so easy to find. The soaring atrium is quite remarkable. Nice bartenders. I did not like the dust on the back part of the counter where the Keurig sits. Looks like they just dust the front part because moving things is a hassle.

Terrible. Expensive valet, never received my $100 incidental fee back, instead got charged $50? No close public parking. Hotel full of people in costumes. Not an inviting or pleasant atmosphere to be in. Rude staff. Paid $400 for a torn up bed. No vending available. Truly disappointed.

Overall our stay was great. The hotel is clean and very nice. The staff was very kind. The negative part of our experience was that self parking was a bit out of the way and was an additional charge of $30 a night- which was ridiculous in itself. Also we bought the breakfast with our stay and was not told it only applies to the buffet. So We took our breakfast to our room every day and upon checkout was told there were overage charges for our breakfast. However in the hotel’s defense the manager kindly removed those charges since we were not told.

We were very disappointed in this property. For what we considered a 'luxury hotel', there were no robes or slippers in the room, no mini bar in the room. The chair was falling apart - corners of the chair were duct-taped together! I have photos. We stayed an an IHG hotel in San Antonio and appreciated the services of a concierge - there was no one in that role at the Hyatt Regency. In addition, when we first arrived, there was bits and pieces of paper, etc on the carpet near our room... when we left - three days later - it was still there! I have photos. I would say this is unacceptable - especially for what we paid to stay there. On a positive note, a very nice Hvac person (Mark) came and fixed the heat/air condition unit. However, based on all the negatives, I would not be recommending this hotel to others.

The smell of sewer was so strong in the lobby I could not stand to be downstairs. Not sure what the issue was but the entire downstairs lobby smelled like raw sewage. The rooms did not smell but the lobby was horrid.

Dance convention stay
First of all, I have lived in Dallas my whole life. Reunion arena is iconic. This hotel is beautiful but it smells terrible. Everyone in the group we traveled with complained that the lobby smelled like sewage and it was very hard to stay warm in the convention center and stay cool in the room. Housekeep knocked on my door before 10:00 am and didn’t complete cleaning my room until 2:00pm.
