Property was overall good. Valet parking was an outrageous $55 for during a weekday. I went to the spa and my massage was mediocre and they add an automatic 23 percent gratuity…i told my therapist to add more pressure for my deep tissue and it was more like i was motioning my legs it was so surface level. I probably wouldn’t stay here again

Requested for late check out by one hour, answer was no despite I payed >$450 for one night and the same room was going for $228.00 that same night. The hotel is nice, not 5 star nice but a true 4. Service is friendly, rooms are large and not cleaned as well as they should be. The food in the restaurant is average. However, this hotel has a major problem… a block away there is a homeless camp with over 20 tents. The whole area is ran down and nothing special and obviously not overly safe. Sad for the property which has potential but I would neither stay there again and or recommend it

I was in Dallas for a conference but needed to stay in the City the night prior... Spotted The Joule when getting bagels at Starship Bagel (Go, but, get there early!) and lucky me, they had availability... This property is special (so many details, the art, the pool), everyone I met loved working there (staff at the front desk, pool, room service) and I learned so much from the Tashen bookstore staff... About the hotel, central business district, owner and other properties! If I ever find myself in Dallas, I'll hope to stay here!!!
