Exceptional stay

The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure our family felt right at home. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The room was clean. Very run down. Used. Tv missing in living room. Toilet coming off of floor. Outside stairs very old. No indoor pool. Outdoor pool was green and closed. Breakfast was so-so. Not worth what I was charged. Another person said their room was really nice. So we drew the short stick apparently. Manager said they are slowly remodeling it.

dislikes: 1. inadequate internet (unreliable), extremely weak connections. 2. only one tv on the suite first floor. had to move furniture around to view from the living area and/or the bedroom. 3. coffee pot is broken and there are no spares available. likes: 1. ceiling fan in living room. 2. full kitchen with full size fridge and range oven.

This was a badly maintained room. Only 2 towels, no wash cloths, and everything but the sheets on the bed seemed dusty or used. Did not use the shower, but wanted to after we left. NOT a very nice place to stay.

It was interesting. Not enough parking, checked in and had to park 2 buildings away from the building we were in. It was sketchy, light switch covers busted, loose outlets, random mismatched bowls and a lot with a lid that was too big. Bed was uncomfortable, couch was a pullout without the mattress so it sagged bad. For the price and the amount of time we spent in the room, jsut shower and leave it worked but will choose something different next time. Rundown

Expedia should not be booking clients in a location that should have closed a long time ago. Room was dirty , many unsafe conditions, nothing at all like the description or pictures shown . If we could have left and located another property, we definitely would have . Extremely disappointed with Expedia , do not consider it a reliable booking company anymore . I will advise my fellow travelers to NOT book with Expedia ever . I do have pictures that I will share , both with friends and social media accounts.

The heat didn’t work, squatters on the property, smelled like weed, dirty dishes and sheets left in sink and on floor … and all of that when we just walked in the room!

Disappointed in Dayton

Hotel is under new ownership. Renovating 1 rm at a time as I was told. We stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom loft. First night there was no cable connection nor internet connection for TV upstairs. There was no remote for bedroom TV downstairs. Couldn’t watch TV at all. Second night the front desk had dropped off remote and set up an internet connection for the TV’s. Drapes were torn. Couch had rips in the cushions. There were stains all on the floor. The tack strip for the carpet was sticking up on the steps. Visible. Had we stepped on it, we would have gotten hurt and needed a tetnus shot for sure. Upstairs toilet sounded like a jackhammer as it filled after a flush. Bed upstairs needed new box springs. Every time someone rolled over it sounded like the bed was gonna come thru the ceiling and land on the bed downstairs. The continental breakfast was mostly a cold breakfast. i.e, yogurt, cereal etc. Complimentary coffee didn’t offer any creamer. I complained and received no $$ discount or anything. The explanation I was given was they were under new management and they just acquired the property less than 1 month prior. It was nothing like the website showed. Worst experience at a hotel. If you thought about staying here, I would see what renovations were done before hand.

It was VERY apparent the bedding had not been changed. Pulled pack the covers and there was what appeared to be a blood stain and pubic hairs all over the sheet. It was late when we discovered this. Had to get up very early to catch a flight otherwise I would have demanded my money back. Slept on top of covers, covered the pillows with our dirty clothes and covered up with our coats! Still haven't received the $100 room deposit! Can't get anyone to answer the phone to find out the status! Bottom line, this place was disgusting! I will go to the top if I need to to get my deposit back! As nasty as this place was, I should get a full refund!!
