Nice hotel not on the beach.
Went for the Rolex 24 weekend. Proximity wise, this was perfect being relatively close to the track and not by the beach. The room we were in looked to have had the bathroom recently remodeled so it practically looked unused which was nice. Staff was very helpful and kind ESPECIALLY the lady running the breakfast area.

Don’t expect to get any sleep here
We left the hotel at 4:45 in the morning, many hours before our intended departure, because my husband and I had the worst night of sleep ever. The room was boiling hot and we could not sleep because of it. We couldn’t figure out why the air conditioner wasn’t running and then we noticed it would only turn on when we were up and moving around. Upon closer inspection of the thermostat, we saw it said Sensorstat in it. After a quick online search, we realized it was motion activated. It would shut the air conditioner off while we were lying in bed trying to sleep. It’s a way for the hotels to save on energy costs at the expense of their customers. Why you would put that in a $200 a night hotel, where we were there for only a few hours TO SLEEP COMFORTABLY is beyond my comprehension. We fully expected a decent night’s sleep for that much money. When we went to the front desk, the guy working there denied they had them in the rooms which is a load of poop. He knew. You can see the motion sensor in the photo I’ve added.

The included buffet was lacking in variety. Also had to ask for hard boiled eggs, and was actually a bit uncomfortable with my request. I asked our hostess if there were any hard boiled eggs and was asked rather curtly “ how many” I was scared to ask anymore… so I just said 2. I mentioned it would be helpful to refill the bin as it was empty. It was refilled well. I guess a bit friendlier service would be nice… also was told we should not move tables,given a hard time as we moved tables to accommodate a large group… we ensured her we would put everything in order. Kindness goes a long way:) ty we overall had a wonderful stay at this property

They are remolding the entire hotel while open. So the hall ways smelt light paint but not overwhelming, I didnt mind. Rhe biggest down side ia the hot tub qas broken so that sucked! The bed was so comfy though. The shower door didnt really close all the way either and the calkimg was already molding. So who ever installed there new plastic shower didnt use bathroom calk. Other than that the breakfast was decent as well.

Although the location was convenient, the facility was “under construction.” Patio covered in debris, hot tub not working, hotel phones not working on first two floors. Desk manager unable to help with billing questions, and mistakes made in refund. We he led out after only one night of our several night vacation and had to scramble for other accommodations.

Friendly staff, quick check in/check out, large breakfast area, pet friendly (they even have a jar of dog treats at the front desk), room was neat, clean and nicely furnished. While not far from I-95, we did not hear traffic, and-while most rooms were occupied-we did not hear noises from other guest rooms or the hallway. Will return to this location.
