Concept is nice, bed was fairly comfortable and the shower was very nice. Valets both in the evening and in the morning were short and rude. The self check-in and out and all the “self-service” is a poorly veiled attempt to cut staffing costs. Made everything more difficult and there was no one to ask questions. Tv and projector were not working in our room with no indication on who/how we could reach out to get it fixed. Kept getting offered the free late check out at 1pm but no way to actually get the late check out. Overall a decent stay, but the attempts to be modern made the whole stay more frustrating and difficult. Definitely not worth the price if you’re not going to staff the hotel or offer guest support.

This property is very unique. We enjoyed staying. It was a convenient location, but the parking off site was not as convenient as I would have like. One thing we absolutely hated, minor as it was, was the hand lotion on the side of the sink. I think it may have been rancid.

We love the catbird hotel. The rooms are spacious and so comfortable. The lobby area is really inviting. The cat bird also has a really incredible staff.

The only real complaints we have was the roof top bar was never open… which we even asked when it’s open and the day and time kept changing.. Also parking … you can park yourself but it’s a ways away and if you have luggage it’s inconvenient… they do have valet but that definitely ads up…

If you are looking for a relaxing stay with safe parking, safety, friendly staff, etc this is not it. My car almost got jacked into twice and I got cornered outside by someone drugged up on the few times I checked on my car (at the free street parking, it’s $50 freaking dollars to park in the ramp otherwise. If you’re looking for a cool, trendy hotel, then yes, this serves that purpose and they do very well at this. The on site laundry and gym were very nice, the rooms had some amenities in terms of kitchening which was nice, but the rooms themselves mirrors hospital rooms shape and size. If you like trendy hip stuff you’ll have what you need - I was dying to get out. Once I did, I stayed at a normal embassy suites place and they treat you like an actual guest and want you to be there it’s like night and day. They pretended to be accommodating but then went silent when asking about partial refunds to leave early. Depends what you are looking for.

Pros: Rooms are reasonably spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. Close to Mission Ballroom. Cons: Self check-in is a faff, especially after having driven for 4 hours. Large rooftop space but no pool. Restaurant on site only open two days a week. Only one bath towel provided for two people! Additional towels arrived after we’d left for the evening. No tall hooks to hang wet towels or robes in bathroom. Coffee filters and pot provided but no coffee - you’re expected to purchase Cat Bird coffee. No 'do not disturb' for door but apparently HK is only provided for stays of 7 days or more. Closest elevator to our room would not go up to the rooftop. Overall did not feel like a “4 star” experience - disappointing.

Very disappointed with the staff. The room was wonderful, the staff couldn’t have been less helpful. They had no answers to basic questions. The hot tubs were out of service (cold) and they had no idea why or if they would get fixed. Every interaction felt like a waste of their time, and resulted in no answers and more frustration.

Nice Option in RiNo
Not a bad choice for a couple nights in the RiNo area of Denver. Very convenient short walk to Mission Ball Room for shows and to bars and restaurants. Overnight parking fee and resort fee are exceptionally high so keep that in mind when booking. Rooms are funky but well-appointed and bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed our time there.

A nice place with a lot of fun features, like the in-room movie projectors and the desk under the bed. They seem very short-staffed, though.
