Was very clean, staff nice. Got a hadicapped room when should have gotten a king. No toiletries were in the bathroom. So had not even a bar of soap to wash hands with after using toilet. Had to go down to the desk and ask for it. That’s very inconvenient and a guest should not have to ask for that. If you offer complimentary items then put them in the room.

Even though this hotel’s name is Fairfield Inn & Suites by the airport, don’t be duped…they DO NOT HAVE A SHUTTLE to get you to the airport that is 8 miles away, and if you have a rental car they charge you for parking. Downtown parking charges I can understand, but parking wasn’t a premium at this location.

On the website it says there is shuttle service to and from airport. Well when we called it had been discontinued 2 months ago. We changed our reservation for the end of the week because of this. There is a lot of construction going on around I. Two new hotels being built.

We were in Denver for a wedding. We arrived at the hotel and the two people at the front desk told us that the system was down and therefore they could not check us in. They also said they had no idea when the system would be back up...it could be hours. We told them we needed to get into a room ASAP so I could wash and style my hair in order to make it to the wedding in time. They said that there was nothing they could do to help me. I then demanded they call the manager (who was off duty). Finally the manager had the front desk person to get someone from housekeeping to figure out what room was vacant, and they were able to place us in a room. We did make it to the wedding in time, but I was rushed getting ready and we had to drive over the speed limit to make it on time. All we got was an "I'm sorry." I would have thought we would have received a discount, or something. I did think the hotel was beautiful and we did enjoy the room.
