The Flora house is a beautifully kept old mansion type house. Decorated beautifully and CLEAN!! The grounds are pretty with flowers planted in the front and fresh flowers in your room!! great touch! The beds are very comfortable..my overall experience was excellent and I would make this my place to stay in Denver..convenient and walkable to stores and restaurants. The Inn keepers are great, helpful, friendly and so is the owner!! I cant say enough good things about the Flora House..you have to experience it!!

Victorian with all the moder convinces.
Fabulous Victorian with modern amenities that blend seamlessly. NOTE: if you are there in the winter, there are portable room heaters on the landings. We had the chance to meet the owner, so learned a lot about the house. For the house history buff, there is the framed original architect drawing in the library or main room.

The property is neat and quiet but the old closet, chairs and tables is a no no, it's needs to be changed i couldn't see myself touch them nor put my clothes in them, the worst of it all is the heater i couldn't see where to turn it on and it's very cold and it'swinter, giving that I'm still healing from my surgery, i can't sleep because the room is very cold , i should have gone to a proper hotel since it's the same price or few dollars different, and no i won't be coming back

Beautiful and spacious room. The house is very nice but the Christmas decorations were very dismal and this time of year it should feel festive. The caretaker was very friendly but his wife or girlfriend was rude. The breakfast was very lacking. A donut cut in 4 for people to share is ridiculous. I would expect a real breakfast for the price we paid. Parking is ridiculous. Only 4 parking spaces and caretaker takes 1 spot. We drove around for an hour looking for a parking spot and found one 7 blocks away. Ridiculous!

The place is amazing but definitely children are not welcome. The very first thing we were told by house keepers was “keep the children supervised at all times” which is obvious for us to do. My 9 years old niece even mention an incident that she came to say “hi” but the gentleman never answer her back in a nice way. That was really rude and children can sense that. Overall, we didn’t feel welcome and it is a pity because the house is so nice and comfortable. I think some smiles and happy faces from the keepers could help to bring a good vibe in the place.

Location is excellent, rooms are superb and the staff is wonderful. It is nestled in a lovely neighborhood but parking (while available) can be a little tight. Flora House has a small but serviceable parking lot unless you are parking a full-size truck or SUV (thankfully we did not). Be sure to enjoy the garden during breakfast. We watched the hummingbirds at their feeders.
