Have used hotels.com for years but will not use it
We had to change our travel plans and come back early, when I inquired at the desk two full evenings before we needed to leave. I was told it would be no problem on the day that we left and we went to the desk, we were told that any refund would have to come through hotels.com. we called hotels.com which called the hotel speaking to the same person at the desk who declined to grant any refund because by that point it was no longer within the 48-hour limitation. Even for the final night. We were quite upset that the desk clerk had not simply told us that up front or better yet. The two days prior we had not been told that we needed a 48-hour cancellation and the reason given by the clerk on the day that we left is that the clerk who was on duty when we inquired had only been working for the company for 2 weeks. Clearly the cleric on the day we left was hoping the blame was going to go on hotels.com and not on him and or the Hyatt hotel system. I have been using hotels.com for a very long time but based on this experience there is absolutely no way that I will use hotels.com again going forward nor will I use a Hyatt hotel.

Solid stay— would return!
Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms. Housecleaning upon request. Fitness center, patio and onsite restaurant was good. Will return next time visiting Denver! Two things I would improve— 1) Stronger housekeeping service given no daily service as a default. There was hair stuck to hardware on the bathroom mirror. 2) offer coffee and water in the lobby. There are always a few guests sitting in lobby so the beverage service would be well received.

We have stayed here twice. Loved it the first time. Location is great. Hotel is clean and new feeling. The rooms are great. This time the air didn’t work so well. We complained about it the first night but it didn’t improve for night 2. It was the weekend so I’m sure it’s tough to get things fixed on the weekend. That was the only negative. We stay at better hotels and while this one is a good value, it also is a super nice place to stay.

On the plus side, this hotel was very quiet, well soundproofed. On a minus sign. The floor of our room was sticky, surfaces were unclean and covered with rings from drinks. We had an upper room which allegedly would have had a view through the filthy window but all you saw was the hotel across the street. Room cleaning service is not offered unless you request it. We did so and received no such service. We tried to have breakfast at the restaurant next to the lobby but sadly watched people who came in after us being fed while we still hadn't been given tea. Lots of homeless people just outside. A near total fail for this hotel.

Bartender was quite rude to my friend last night. We asked when food and beverages would be cut off. At that time he said there is 10 minutes for food and that in 10 minutes the bar would be as well. Within 10 minutes we asked for another drink. The bar quite abruptly said to my friend (a person of color) you are not going to be served. That was just unnecessary and we were within the timing of the closing to get one more drink. I think you bartender needs to consider a bit more customer experience training.

Hotel was in a great location made it very easy to walk to any area that we wanted to go. We were about a 15 minute walk from Union Station and the baseball stadium. The room was comfortable and clean. The whole hotel was well kept. Staff was friendly and accommodating even checking us in a little early. The little restaurant inside was also good and convenient. Overall, great day I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
