Not what I expected
Poor communication. No access code given. Had to call property management to gain access upon check in. Next time the gate was jammed and had to call again. No hot water in shower. Luke warm at best, if that luckily I was able to take a shower at a friend's. No cream at the coffee bar. Heard similar complaints from others.

Perfect Getaway
I was just in Denver for a quick trip and wanted to stay in my favorite area. It’s so close to good restaurants and a great art scene. The room was perfect for what I needed and I have already recommended it to friends! Can’t wait to come back!

Great Place and Location
Lovely property and great room. Really enjoyed the property and common spaces to hang out and meet other guests. Very clean and nicely appointed. The light on the ceiling fan comes on intermittently which can be a bit jarring in the middle of the night but not the end of the world. Overall wonderful experience!

Excellent Denver Stay
We had a great time at this awesome little property! Walkable neighborhood, though as with any city downtown area there are a couple spots you want to avoid. A few really good bars/restaurants/coffee shops nearby. Highly recommend for a quick Denver getaway.

Charming private room in a gorgeous old home
I've stayed on two occasions in two different rooms and found both immensely comfortable and cozy (I was visiting in the winter.). The fireplaces add a lot. I stayed on the ground floor rooms; if you are bothered by noise you might choose an upstairs room, but I found this to be a problem only one of seven nights when a guest returned at 2am and kept dropping things. The communal rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable. Amenities were great, overall; though a light fixture was out in both rooms on both occasions, the staff responded quickly to try to resolve the issue (unsuccessfully, but they tried their best.). It's an old house, so it has its kinks, but I really enjoyed the lovely rooms and also the nice back porch.

Clean, good location, easy
Property was in a great location, we walked to a lot of great places close by. The room was very nice, clean, and everything was a coded entry which made it so easy. I either lost or didn't receive the information on how to check in prior to flying into Denver. Within minutes of calling the management company, my call was returned, and the check in info was sent immediately. The owners were very easy to communicate with as well! Would definitely return 😊

Bachelorette Party- success!
Recently stayed at the Curtis Park for my sisters bachelorette party! The property is great and the location is unmatched. Perfect for a group wanting to walk to bars, etc. The only confusing part was that each room in the house is rented separately so that part was a little confusing. There also isn't really a kitchen in the common area, there is a fridge but no dishes or freezer. There was one in the backhouse. Overall great stay and would love to come back!

Decent for a quick stay
The property was really nice once I found it. Was well kept for a restored older place. Only thing I found was it took a while for some hot water to the shower. Bed was comfortable and overall experience was just fine. Whoever I corresponded with via email was great and prompt.

Beautiful & Relaxing
It was clean and beautiful. It was located in a nice area and made it easy to explore on foot. We had ample privacy. The mattress was quite surprising and uncomfortable though. It reminded me of a sofa bed mattress and was a stark contrast to the rest of the room’s quality. I thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace being in the room. Aside from the uncomfortable mattress this place was quite nice.

Exactly as pictured, but bed leaves something to be desired
This property was SO great. The room and amenities were clean, in good condition and exactly as pictured, for a short stay it was absolutely perfect! I would say that in this particular room, the bed is not made for 2 adults. The internet was good but did have trouble late at night. Everything is code locked vs keys and there is a cute little common area too. You can walk to a few restaurants and bars, but the cutest little matcha coffee bar is just steps from the unit. Would stay again, perhaps in a room with a bigger bed.

A nice restoration of Victorian Houses
My room was the Radiant Rancher, which was attractively restored in a western theme. The bathroom was very nice with new fixtures. Be aware that the 11-12 cement steps from the sidewalk to the house doesn't have a hand rail. Probably not a problem for younger guests , but I'm of a "certain age" that has balance issues. Parking at night is pretty sparce, and coming home about 8:00pm on a Saturday evening, I had to park 2 blocks away. Plenty of good restaurants and within walking distance. Both restaurants that I chose took my temperature before I could enter. I appreciated that. Also, be aware that there are no cups, plates, flatware (paper or plastic) in the room, so be sure if you do carry out from a restaurant, have them include what you need for eating. Be sure to get a paper cup from the common room before turning in for the night!

Want to really like this place...
First off this place is absolutely adorable. When my fiancé and I walked on the property we were completely impressed, almost to the point to where we consider changing our flights to stay another night. However, when we got to our room the temperature was 80 degrees inside. We turned down the thermostat but noticed the room was not getting any cooler. When I emailed the property owner he said he was going to check in with the property manger on site to see if there was another place for us to stay. They suggested we open the windows and that the room temperature would cool down with the sun going down. The room temperature went down some but never got below 75. We were also never moved to another room. Just disappointed that not much was done with the issue. Also the beds are very firm. It just wasn’t the most comfortable stay. I am really wanting to give this place a second chance due to how cute it was, but not sure if I want to risk paying over 200 again for a room with AC problems.
