Black mold in basement, rodent poop in kitchen drawers, Smokey smell upstairs
I hate to give this review because aside from these things (one of which was pretty big), it is a decent house. When we first walked in, there was a strong smell of cigarette some and fabuloso. Host suggested there were air fresheners in the house to use. We looked at the rooms the first day and noticed water on the ground outside of a door downstairs. We opened it only to discover the water heater room was actively leaking water, there was water on the ground and black mold on the walls and ground. I did alert the host who asked if I wanted someone from their team to check it out. This was clearly not a new thing, it had been growing for a while. Unfortunately with such short notice, we were unable to find anywhere else to stay. Three of our family have respiratory issues which unfortunately increased with the mold throughout the week. We checked out before daylight the last day because I personally had such a bad respiratory episode, I had to go receive medical treatment. Lastly, we found rodent poo in the kitchen drawers the first day. We did clean it, but we had to do so daily so there must be a healthy population of rodents in the home. Less important, but a warning, one of the toilets downstairs makes a very loud train horn sound when it fills up after it is flushed. Not important to us, but alarming if you are not aware of it.

Nice place in a great location
Things started off a vit badly when the key code didn't work, but after several discussions with the host, we were avle ro get a code that workes. The place was lovely inside and in a great area dor walming, close to shopping and ro the events we came for. Some suggestions would be to have some chairs on the lovely dexk (there were none which made it hard to enjoy the view) and some additional chairs in the entryway. Also, the oven door fell off when we tried to open it, so we didn't use it.

Space was good. Deck was nice and big. If there was outdoor furniture on the deck with a grill it would have been perfect! Very nice and easy communication with the hostess.
