listing is very deceiving (2 stars for location)
We chose this rental as it was the only dog friendly one available for our dates. Upon arriving the code for the door lock wouldn't work, called customer service & it prompted me to use a messaging link. I messaged with no reply. Called back & got a human to speak to, after failed attempts of theirs to reset the code they gave us the code for the lock box & we used the key. The door threshold was almost completely rotten & throughout our stay we had to continuously kick it back into place as we kept tripping on it. It became immediately apparent that the photos in the listing were taken MANY years ago. Over half the furniture in the listing was not in the house. There was a note that the cleaner had been there but everything was dirty. Sand, dirt & dog hair all over the floor and on the couches & later we discovered in 2 of the BEDS. The sheets had not been changed. The listing boasts 3 bathrooms but one of the bathrooms had a barely trickling shower head & the toilet cove was not wide enough for an adult to fit into. There was a water flow issue with the washer so when we ran a load of laundry it would have to be checked on every so often & have its cycle restarted. It was dog friendly however I did not feel comfortable leaving my dog in the yard unsupervised as it was full of garbage, debris, old dog poop & the fences were falling down. The most disappointing part is they have been getting terrible reviews ALL YEAR and just don't seem to care.
