Hotel definitely gone downhill since last we stayed. Main bar not open until 6pm had to walk to the opposite end of the hotel up and down stairs, long corridors to the golf bar. Not acceptable for a hotel of this grade. Breakfast only average. Would not stay again

Lots to do in and near hotel
It is a lovely, though rambling hotel. Our room was not as clean as in previous visits and there was no spare toilet rolls. Housekeeping were v efficient though and brought some along.

Nice stay but noisy at times
We have stayed several times before & always like to come back. Unfortunately this time there were some issues with noise early on the Sunday morning. Doors are very loud when closing & there were children running up & down the corridor & general noise. I think where our room was located did not help. Overall stay was good but not being woken up at 7am on the Sunday morning.

Brilliant stay
Went away for my birthday. Plans were cancelled due to bad weather. Facilities brilliant. The staff went above and beyond and were amazing and made our stay even better. The food is nice but a bit expensive. The hotel is absolutely beautiful.
