Five Sisters’ Weekend
We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean. There was more than enough space for the five of us. We mainly hung out on the main level. The kitchen and bathrooms are well appointed. Comfy beds and nice soaps, shampoo/conditioner. We did quite a bit of cooking. Good appliances and knives. Plenty of dishes and glassware. Sufficient cookware. Kitchen table seats six. Great for puzzles too! The Poppajohn Sculpture Park is worth the short drive. We also took lovely strolls at Gray’s Lake Beach and in the neighborhood. Several supermarkets are nearby. The hosts were very responsive to our needs. Probably not a good choice for anyone challenged with stairs. We would definitely stay here again.

Des Monies Friends trip (Biking)
This was a friends getaway. The house was very clean, has been somewhat updated recently. Bedrooms were nice to move around in and bed were very comfortable. We did not cooked but kitchen looked like it had what is needed! Keurig and pods were there for coffee in the morning! Farmers market not far away for Saturday morning to get your fresh food if you want to cook later! The place is about half mile from grays lake to get on the bike trails! Trails lead to many destinations! Great for bike trip! The living room ( main floor) needs to have more seating as we had to bring in chairs from kitchen to watch tv. There is also a second floor as well for tv watching. The outside deck is not very appealing it needs work looks ruff. The steps going up to bedrooms and to second and 3rd floor are somewhat steep and narrow. As well as the step going into the front door. We did get to use the garage for our bikes which was very nice! Our group was 6 adults which worked good as each couple had our own bathroom! There would be room for small kids if we would have had them along for sleeping. There was two 2 bedrooms we did not use did with double beds. There is no tvs in the bedrooms! Overall the place was very nice!

House is very easy to get to in a good neighborhood. It is clean with plenty of bedrooms and and very good bathroom accommodations. While we were there the A/C broke but I let the owner know and it was fixed the next day. I would stay there again if I had a big group.

We felt like the home was not accommodating. Amenities were not up to par. The photos are deceiving.
The home is beautiful. The home has great potential. My family expected more out of the home. The photos appear as if there are two kitchens, two decks. The actual one deck has no outdoor furniture. The basement had flooded and was not accessible. There was nothing inviting to return to this home. The lawn was not groomed. The home has a bachelor's effect. If you want excitement, or perks, soap in your bathroom, shampoo in the dispensers, just simple amenities you better call ahead. My granddaughter that is five was not able to travel as planned. I am so glad because there was nothing of alluring for any child, teen or young adult in this home. My family was highly disappointed. Great potential but didn't make the cut.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. Plenty of room. The back door didn’t lock though and a piece of wood above the stairs going down to the next level tripped a couple of people up. It needs nailed down better for safety reason. Other than that, everything was great!!
