My Place Hotel in Akeny IA is more of a quick, economical, budget friendly hotel. Room and accommodations, bed all sufficient, however the Hotel is used by many traveling service people so as a single woman, I felt it wasn’t perhaps as safe that had a greater mix of families. That said the hotel is in a great location with restaurants, the halls are well lit, and overall a very good choice for the price.

The room was very nice. Felt somewhat damp in the room, had to turn the heat on to dry it out some. The shower water pressure is very weak. Outside of those two things the stay was pleasant.
