Beautiful apartment
A beautiful apartment with everything you could need. The location is in the heart of Desenzano just a few min walk to the Ferry, 15-20 min walk to large supermarket although a small local shop just opposite and a fab bakery 2 min away. Lots of lovely restaurants to choose from. Our hosts were super helpful and the beds very comfy. I’d highly recommend, particularly if you like being in the heart of the town. It’s about 15 min walk to the train station and 30 - 40 min taxi ride to Verona airport.

Great place
Maghy’s house was a wonderful place to stay. We arrived very early due to a train strike and was able to get into the apartment. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We had an issue with the washing machine and Matteo came to help us right away. He also drove us back to the train station. I would definitely rent here again.

Excellent apartment. Spotlessly clean in an excellent location close to the ferry port. Many an evening spent sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine people watching. Would highly recommend.

Great apartment, great location, great hosts
Overall the property matched the description and the location was great - right in the middle of the pedestrianised part of town. our hosts were amazing given the time we arrived - Ryanair delays and dodgy car hire company! would recommend to any one looking for an apartment with easy access to the bars and restaurants in Desenzano!

Had an amazing family holiday in this apartment. It’s tastefully decorated with good quality fittings and furniture. The location is right in the centre of Desenzano, a few steps to great restaurants, Baker, shops etc. Highly recommend staying in this apartment. Lake Garda is stunning.

We really enjoyed our stay in Maghy’s house. It’s a lovely apartment and very well equipped. The location is very central, it’s close to many bars and restaurants and a few minutes walk from the boat and bus stop. Desenzano is a good centre from which to travel around the lake. Federica was most helpful from when we booked to the end of our stay. The only downside was a lot of street noise and church bells early in the morning.

Beautiful apartment - very clean and comfortable and in a good location.
Federico & Matteo are very welcoming and informative hosts. Their apartment is tastefully decorated with all mod cons and everything provided for a very comfortable stay. There’s a good choice of restaurants and bars close by plus you are also well placed to be able to explore the lake by either car or ferry boat.

A comfortable, clean and welcoming apartment with all you need for a home away from home. A friendly welcome from Federica and Matteo on arrival awaits you. We enjoyed listening to the music and atmosphere of the town from our apartment where you are centrally located for bars, restaurants and an evening stroll. We even got used to the church bells!! A perfect location to explore the lake via ferries and we would highly recommend the Parco Cavour water park, a short drive away for those with families. Ciao

Brilliant apartment equipped with everything needed and in a fantastic location with greatvhostd
This was the best holiday rental we have ever stayed in. The apartment is located right in the centre of desenzano with ready access to lots of great restaurants and bars. The apartment is spacious and extremely well equipped. Hosts are fantastic and for an extra fee collected and returned us to the airport making our journey stress fee. The ferry boats are a five minute walk away giving you access to the many resorts around Lake Garda. The train station is a 20 minute walk away where trains run to Verona, Venice and Milan. I cannot rate this apartment highly enough. It was great to sit on the balcony in the evening with a glass of Laguna (the local white wine) and people watch. There is so much to do around the area. It is ideal for all ages. Highly recommended

Lovely apartment in the centre of Desenzano. You are assured of a very warm welcome from the owners who couldn't be more helpful, and the apartment has everything you could possibly want. We would certainly wish to stay here again on our next return to Desenzano.

A lovely stay in the centre of Desenzano
This is a beautiful, modern apartment in the centre of Desenzano, one minute from the edge of Lake Garda, and many bars & restaurants to choose from. The apartment has everything you need for your stay, and the owners are very helpful and on-hand to help with any issues. Our questions pre-arrival were answered very quickly, and we were picked up at the train station by the owner's daughter-in-law who drove us to the apartment and provided us with lots of suggestions for our stay. For us this was a real taste of Italy, and Desenzano is the perfect spot to explore Lake Garda with the ferry close by. The apartment is also convenient for bus & train which are very cheap in comparison to the UK. We hope to visit again in the future.

Desenzano is a truly magical place
As soon as I walked through the door of Maghys House I loved it! It is beautifully decorated..charming, homely and stylish all at the same time, as well as spotlessly clean. We got the warmest welcome I've ever had on a holiday; from Margherita and her family/friend who even collected us from the train station and helped carry luggage. She genuinely wanted to make sure we were secure and comfortable (we instantly were) and knew where everything was and gave us many welcome tips and restaurant recommendations. The apartment was kitted out with everything you needed as well as some food/coffee/water etc - a home from home indeed! It's in the perfect location too, right in the centre. We loved sitting on the beautiful little balcony and people watching ...such a buzz to the place. All in all we had a wonderful stay and I couldn't recommend this property and location high enough X

A beautiful home and a wonderful location
Thank you so much to Margherita and her family for their wonderful hospitality. The apartment is modern, immaculately clean and welcoming. It has absolutely everything you would need, especially the well equipped kitchenette, meaning you can choose to eat out or at home without any bother. And the double glazing means that if you feel like shutting out the noises of the town you can (it is not really noisy but on occasion it was useful to block out some of the hustle and bustle while the kids were drifting off). The location itself couldn't have been better for us, it is close to everything with shops, restaurants, ferry terminal, and a fantastic bakery only a stones throw away. The town is friendly and well equipped for tourists but did not feel over-run by the tourist trade, and in the evenings the balcony afforded a great spot for people watching the very stylish people of Desenzano as they promenaded through the town. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back to see more of Lake Garda.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in einer sehr gut gelegenen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Wohnung, die keine Wünsche offen ließ. Die Lage im Ort ist zentral, so dass man kurze Wege hat zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und zum Hafen. In den kleinen Läden in der Umgebung bekommt man alles was manbraucht.

Sehr schönes Appartement in zentraler Lage
Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, ist sehr gut ausgestattet und liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom See entfernt. Restaurants und Bäcker befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr nett. Bei Anreise wurden wir schon erwartet und in Wohnung und Tiefgarage begleitet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen.

Toll und Zentral
Die Wohnung war modern eingerichtet und top/ neu renoviert und ausgestattet. Die Sauberkeit war ebenfalls hervorragend. Mit der zentralen Lage war man gut angebunden, Fähre, Bahnhof und auch Busverbindungen alles sehr schnell erreichbar. Der Kontakt mit den Inhabern war auch sehr nett und unkompliziert. Wir würden auf jedenfall wieder in diese Wohnung gehen.

Hübsche und saubere Wohnung mitten im Geschehen
Die Lage der Wohnung, die Ausstattung sowie die Sauberkeit waren einwandfrei. Sehr nette Vermieter und Parkplatz im nahegelegenen Parkhaus vorhanden. See und zahlreiche Restaurants, Bistros und Läden in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Problemloser Check-in und -out. Vermieter jederzeit erreichbar. Einziger Nachteil für uns war, dass jeden Morgen ab ca. 6.30 Uhr die Müllabfuhr und weitere Reinigungsfahrzeuge für ca. 1 Stunde durch die Straße vor dem Haus fuhren. Das war dann immer ein Riesenlärm, da auch die Eimer mit Altglas geleert wurden. Man hatte das Gefühl, daneben zu sitzen. Ebenso die Kirchenglocken einer, sich um die Ecke befindlichen, Kirche. Für Frühaufsteher sicherlich kein Thema, aber ausschlafen war für uns leider nicht drin.

Zentraler geht wirklich nicht mehr. Hafen, Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten alles im Umkreis von max. 10 Minuten erreichbar Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet und modern eingerichtet. Die Vermieter sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Vom einchecken bis zum auschecken war alles professionell organisiert. Wir haben uns mega wohlgefühlt. Für jemand der Stadtnähe sucht ist dieses Appartement wärmstens zu empfehlen
