There was nothing luxury about this place. I checked in because I needed to be close to the hospital as I was having a surgery and wanted a comfortable place to recover. Unfortunately my stay was a nightmare the neighbors upstairs played basketball with their Dog all day and had furniture throwing parties almost nightly (at 4 o’clock in the morning.)
There is a strip mall adjacent to the apartment and the semis start unloading deliveries at 5:30 AM, and are followed by Truck after Truck on most mornings.
The place was not as clean as expected. The pillows were stained. Carpet was dirty, several cushions needed cleaning. Some towels were stained, and furniture is cheap (from IKEA). A shelf was duck taped.? I couldn’t leave the balcony door open (for fresh air) or gnats would invade.
Also ….. remember that whenever you stay near a hospital (2 hospitals in this case) you will hear sires screaming people into the ER at random times.
Very sure Joni Mitchell would not want to be associated with this place. James VRBO manager was not available to answer questions prior to my arrival and when we finally spoke he hung up on me. He sent a email saying he was going to refund the security deposit 💸 but haven’t received it. I feel like it was false advertising and was taken advantage of. I stayed longer than I should’ve but was too weak from surgery to pack and find other accommodations.
