Sterling Sands Unit #407 is a nicely updated fourth floor unit with amazing gulf and pool views from a private balcony. You will love this unit from sunrise to sunset daily from your private balcony accessible from the living room! The living room also offers a nice sofa sleeper and a matching loveseat, well-coordinated coastal furnishings, and a large TV with DVD player. The dining area offers seating for four. There are three bar stools at the breakfast bar for plenty of seating. The kitchen has upscale granite counters, full-size appliances, and all the housewares needed to make meals at home.

The primary bedroom offers a calm retreat with a nice king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The second bedroom offers a nice twin over full bunk bed with cozy bedding. There is a second bathroom next to the guest bedroom with a a shower/tub combo. Enjoy the convenience of a private washer and dryer during your stay tucked away into a closet in the hall.

Things to Know
A resort fee (for amenity wristbands and parking passes) of $15 plus tax per person (5 years old and up) must be paid during mandatory pre-registering online. Website provided in confirmation email.
This unit has a max occupancy, including children. These are rules set by the State of Florida and the State of Florida Fire Codes. The Fire Codes go by square footage and not the beds in a unit. If you arrive with more than the max occupancy listed, the HOA will not allow you to check-in and you will not be entitled to a refund.

Didn't realize the property was so private.Didnt know we would have to rent chairs and umbrellas when we got there and then have to pay extra for brackets once there.Snakes were around the pool area.Water seaping in the kitchen floor.I guess it was too private for our life style.

The condo is beautiful. We had a beachfront view that was amazing. It was clean no issues, checkin process was simple. The kitchen & bathrooms are a nice size and had everything we needed & were very clean. Its located on a strip thats convenient to walmart & other restaurants. The outlet was 15 mins away.. perfect condo & location and will definitely be booking again.

Had a fun and relaxing time with my girls. We were centrally located to everything on the strip. Condo was on the beach with easy access to all the amenities. Water was beautiful. We had everything we needed in our condo & had an amazing time. We will be back !

Unit needs some TLC.
We love the location of the Sterling Sands building. You literally can’t beat it. This unit fell a bit flat for us - just needs some major updates and some TLC. It was fine, but just needs some details to make it really pack a punch! It’s got great potential. Get rid of cable and get a fire stick for each TV / smart TV, replace lightbulbs that are out, repaint in some areas, add some plugs that are in a convenient location, popcorn ceiling coming off in spots, update furniture (everything is upholstered and we were nervous wrecks about the sand and chlorine + having 2 kids stain something), l cabinet paint chipping off, etc. The insides of the cabinets were really icky in some spots - we cleaned quite a bit while we were there. Like I said, we love the location, but this unit needs a little love.

Overall great time and enjoyed our stay. Condo had a few small issues but nothing the maintenance man didn't fix quickly. Nothing that hindered us from having an awesome time. We love this building and location.

Spring Break 2020
Bedding and linens were clean. Room smelled fresh. Floors were clean and mopped. The condo in itself could use a good deep cleaning. Wooden blinds and window sill in master bedroom are pretty filthy. Inside of kitchen drawers and some utensils need cleaning. Kitchen cabinets are greasy on outside and need deep cleaning. Balcony needs a deep cleaning. Tv remotes in master bedroom don’t work and have to turn tv on manually on back of tv. Other than that it has good space for 5-6 people including sofa bed.

The outside was beautiful. Our room had busted floor tile covered by a rug。 the furniture was so dB
When asked to be moved to another room due to the condition of our room we were told if we booked direct they would have moved us to a better room. I wasn’t impressed with the amount of money we paid for tge room and the condition of the room!

Broken tiles covered with a rug that we kept tripping on, DIRTY George Forman skillet, not over all very clean. One elevator was broken and never repaired. The only working elevator smelled of beer, broken beer bottle glass in the elevator- never cleaned. Staff members were hard to find. I called twice to address our issues- they were never resolved.

Great condo with breathtaking views!!
My family of four stayed here for 3 nights. We loved it! The condo definitely needs some minor repairs, but does not have gross carpet like a previous review stated. There is a broken floor tile in the entry way (covered by a rug) that needs tending to, and the master shower comes unscrewed, but the views and convenience of the condo far surpass these minor problems. The kitchen is fully stocked, beds are comfortable, and cable is provided in the living room and both bedrooms. We even got to see dolphins from the balcony every morning. Overall, it was a great experience.

The condo was in disrepair.
The tiles in the hallway were broken and covered with a rug. The furniture was stained. The mattresses were uncomfortable. The ceiling fan in the living room would not go past low on the speed. have stayed in multiple condos in Destin and this was a big disappointment.

This was a great location. Right in the heart of Destin. Walking distance of shops and eating. Every
This condo was everything and more it presented to be in the pictures. Check in was a little confusing because we were given no instructions. I tried to check in at the front desk but you have to check in with ResortQuest down the road. Other than that there is nothing negative to say. Condo was clean and great access to the beach. Loved sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves. We were able to spot several dolphins from our condo. The lady that cleaned outside every morning was wonderful. She would spray down the entire pool area including lounge chairs every morning. It was terrific to have a washer and dryer to wash clothes. There are grills outside on the grounds if you want to grill out.(Just do it early because dinner time they get busy) . They leave a small packet of dishwashing soap and soap for the washing machine. So, if you plan on doing much laundry or dishes you may want to bring some of your own too. The pictures you see on this website are exactly as this condo is. We were so happy with the location and condo. I would recommend it to anyone!!
