Disgusting and unacceptable
Disgusting and unacceptable. After six hours of driving arrived at 11 PM. The townhouse had not been cleaned from the previous renters. Toilets had not been flushed all towels on the floor all sheets dirty. The bottom floor which gave us our extra bedroom and our extra shower was locked we could not enter it. One of the showers upstairs did not work. So we were without a entire floor of the home and only one shower worked in the unit. I tried to contact VRBO and Vacasa, many many times. The few people I got to speak with said they were sorry. They would let superiors know we had to go to Walmart at midnight and buy cleaning supplies sheets towels etc. and go to work on the unit at one in the morning. This is the most unacceptable situation you can imagine. How can any company run a business like this by not responding to help you?

So property does not look like the picture you do get the view of the harbor but everything else just kind of loose OK refrigerator upstairs does not work so you have to walk up and downstairs to get food which was inconvenient there is a bubble in the top floor so be careful because we had somebody trim the third bedroom is on the other side of the stairs just several cosmetic issues that I thought I kind of got cheated on

It's was nice but some small issues.
Place is very pretty and clean but a few nails that will get your feet near kitchen... microwave in downstairs spot wasn't working. Refrigerator wasn't working in kitchen so a working refrigerator was placed downstairs in front of washer. I would recommend this place especially if they fix the little issues. Also, parking is close. We did enjoy our stay though.

Can't use the dock
The dock is blocked by someone else's boat. Good luck talking to anyone about it either. No point in getting a waterfront property because you can't even fish off of it.

Not as Pictured
The pictures are so misleading! This property is in bad shape! Huge bulge in the flooring in the dining area, mildew smell, back patio is covered in mildew. The third room is not really part of the house. You use an entrance under the top deck and the deck area in front of that room was a mess. Also… **boaters***. Make sure you check three or four times about dock availability. We got lucky that the neighbor didn’t have his boat, but he told us that normally there is no dock space. We came to the house by boat and ended up having to call because there was a large boat tied up to the dock where we should have parked. It did get moved but that was after a very lengthy discussion with the neighbor. Just quadruple check! Location was close to harbor walk but not the best view. We could see the fireworks on Saturday. No smoke detector, washing machine doesn’t work (found out the hard way) and you need a step stool to retrieve your clothes. I’m writing this in hopes that the owner addresses these issues with Vacasa who is actually handling the property, even though we booked through VRBO

Terrible! Do not recommend
The online listing and the price made this place look amazing but it was far from that. It was a crap hole in our opinion. All of the decor was mismatched like random stuff picked up off the side of the road. Cabinet doors unlevel and screws falling out. Food stains, blood and footprints on the walls & ceilings. Missing outlet covers, one was black like it had caught fire. Toilet paper & paper towel holders falling off the walls. Blinds tore to shreds. Stains on the comforters…large, big stains. Sunflower seeds in one of the bedroom floors. Don’t walk barefoot in the house because you’re feet will be black! With a little TLC this place could be nice but we will NOT be back. The photographer they used for the online listing must’ve been paid good $$ to photoshop every picture.

Not what we expected
First off this is listed as a 3 bedroom 3 1/2 bath. In reality it is a 2 bedroom 2 1/2 with a suite that has a bathroom that you have to access from outside, going down the stairs from the outside balcony. So it didn’t meet the needs I had. My mom ended up sleeping on the couch because she couldn’t walk up and down the stairs to the suite or the upstairs bedrooms. Second, upon arriving the condo was musty smelling and the floors in kitchen and living area were dirty and sticky. The carpets in bedrooms had apparently been cleaned because they were still wet. Third, there is only 2 chairs in the dining area for a house that sleeps up to 8? Fourth, early morning knock on door from a neighbor to let us know that our vehicles were almost burglarized. He told us at about 3 am a Uhaul truck pulled up and proceeded to start unstrapping things from the back of my vehicle. We had packed some things the night before because we were leaving the next morning. He noticed them and called the police who were able to arrive in time to prevent them from actually stealing anything. This property has a ton of potential, just needs some serious updating and some furniture that accommodates the amount of people in the home. And the pictures need to be updated because they apparently were taken awhile ago. I was very disappointed that the accommodations were not as expected. This is the first time in many years of renting that a listing was so off from the descriptions and pictures.

We came to Destin for our two daughters graduation trip. The home was perfect for our family. Everyone fit comfortably. The views were beautiful. The home had all the amenities we needed. Only complaint is the parking! Overall very satisfied!

Family Getaway
We LOVED this place! It was in a great location, easy to get to stores & restaurants. Being on the water was so peaceful and incredible. Loved the house, it had all that we needed to relax, cook, wash clothes, and enjoy sunrises and sunsets while looking at boats. We will definitely be back to Destin, and this place will be first on the list to check for availability!

House was ok. Outdated, needing remodeling. Cleaning in bath/ tubs could be better. AC therm control only goes down to 69. Supposed to have boat slip but both neighbors, who are actually owners, had their boats docked and that didn’t leave room for mine. Neighbor/ owner on east side was very very nice. Neighbor/owner on set side was major a-hole. Very rude snd disrespectful. Will not be staying again and will Not recommend based on this one person
