This recently renovated cottage home is a short walk to the beach and is located in the gated and prestigious neighborhood of Destin Pointe. From the expansive, furnished decks, enjoy stunning views and sunsets overlooking freshwater Lake Christina, the Gulf, and East Pass. There’s also fantastic swimming and floating in the crystal-clear Gulf from this home's private, deeded beach. Beach set-up is included along with four adult beach bikes.

When guests build up an appetite, the well-equipped, modern kitchen offers plenty of space for entertaining and preparing your recipes with ease. Helpful gadgets include a food processor, Crock-Pots, a French press, a bean grinder, a Keurig machine, and a large wine/beverage fridge. Enjoy reminiscing about the day in the family room, offering Gulf views along with a 65-inch smart TV.

There will be plenty of room for all guests to spread out - all of the bedrooms (except for the bunk room) have private outdoor spaces and baths. The primary suite features a plush bed, plenty of closet space, a private bathroom, and a large walk-in shower with double vanity. French doors lead to two private lower decks with lounge chairs for spectacular Gulf and sunset views. The second and third bedrooms both feature smart TVs, generous closet spaces, and private decks. The fourth bedroom is a wonderful space for children, with a charming bunk bed, smart TVs in each bunk, and a third, larger TV for gaming!

There will be no lack of fun to be had when everyone heads out to the beach for the day, as guests will have access to a large ice chest with wheels, boogie boards, noodles, two double kayaks, two stand-up paddleboards, multiple life vests for kids and adults, a beach cart with super-wide wheels, tons of sand toys, and beach games! All you need to bring are your own beach towels. Tennis and pickleball gear is included if your group wants to hit the courts together, and there's also a lighted basketball court for more outdoor recreation. And for indoor fun - lots of family board games, cards, poker chips, and puzzles!

Located just west of the heart of downtown Destin, this home is situated in a quiet, kid-friendly, gated neighborhood (with a 24/7 security guard at the gate), offering a peaceful stay while still being close to all of the action. Ride your bike to the water taxi dock and leave the car at home to tour all the action at HarborWalk Village by water taxi! Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park and The Track are both a short drive from home. You can also try your luck catching a big one while surf-casting from the home's private beach or go deep-sea fishing with a local skipper. Crab Island is accessible via the Crab Island Water Taxi.

THINGS TO KNOW
This home has a HALO-LED Whole Home Air Purification System and a Carrier Whole Home Dehumidification System.
Seasonal beach service (one umbrella and two chairs) is included. Beach towels are not provided, please bring your own. This service begins March 15 and ends October 31.
Seasonal tram service will run March 20 - October 31, Monday - Sunday 9 am - 5:30 pm (last pick up at 5:15 pm). Lunch break from 2 pm - 2:30 pm daily. (Hours and operation dates are subject to change at any moment.)

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Security camera details: There are two surveillance cameras on the property. One pointed at the driveway and the other underneath the home pointed at the kayaks. These cameras do not record audio.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
