"Hotellissa remontoitiin huoneita, meidän oli jo kunnostettu eli huoneemme oli kaikinpuolin hyvä. Tosin upouusi puhelin ei toiminut, kun halusimme aikaista poislähtöä varten herätyksen. Puhelin vaihdettiin samantien ja respan virkailija lupasi varmuuden vuoksi lähettää yövuorokollegansa koputtamaan aamulla ovellemme. Näin tapahtuikin eli saimme tuplaherätyksen.
Aamiainen oli ok, munakokkelia, pekonia, puuroa, leikkeleitä, erilaisia leipiä, hedelmiä jne.
Sijainti on erinomainen, retkien noutopysäkki ihan lähellä, lyhyt matka satamaan, samoin ostoskaduille ja Harpaan.
Henkilökunta on hyvin samanlaista kuin monessa muussakin paikassa Reykjavikissä, asiallisen ystävällistä, mutta välimatkan päästä, voisi sanoa kuin Suomessa."
