Paid for a king room. Arrived at 1pm and asked if we could secure the room (without needing to go to the room) check in and have the keys, even if the room wasn’t clean yet, as we knew we were going to be arriving back late after our event and didn’t want to risk having our room given to someone else. Answer was NO. Employee said room would not be given away.
Got back at 10pm. Got the room key and noticed the invoice said Queen bed. I said I paid for king, employee said there are none left. If we had it reserved, why were there none left. Went up to the room, bed was a mess, basket of towels on the floor…room hadn’t been cleaned. Back down to the lobby, had to give us another room. After all that, the room was clean and comfortable.
