First impression was not good. The reception smelled of cannabis. Very off putting for over seas visitors. Reception explained a deposit which was fine and I duly supplied a card but then he took a photocopy of my card which we wouldn’t allow in England for security reasons! I argued the point but he failed to explain why. The room was ground floor and exceptionally dirty. The walls were filthy and the carpets were too. We went out for tea and when we got in there was like some tail gate party. The noise and smoking went on til Gone midnight. Far from ideal when you have little ones in the room. The room stunk of cigarettes as did we after we left having showered. Breakfast was choice of bran or corn flakes, currant bread and apples. None of which were toddler friendly. For a Wyndham hotel I expect better quite frankly. It lets the side down.
