I liked the area this HIE&S was located. The stafff at the front desk was friendly. The room condition was ok. The cleaning was pretty bad. The bathroom had quite a few pieces of hair from prior guests in and around the shower (which is a major ick for me).

Not impressed.
We stayed here for the night because we were in town for a soccer tournament. I called the day before to see if they would have our room ready earlier than the 3 pm check in time, and they said they would put a request in. When I called the day of check in they said it would not be ready before 3. Which is fine, but I got there at 4 pm to find hair in the drain of our shower, no trash cans anywhere in the room, the coffee pot didn’t work, and there was cobwebs/dust in the corners of the room. We were also given a handicapped room (no one in our family is handicapped) which again fine….until we showered and the water spilled all into the bathroom area, all over the floor. We had to use our extra bathroom towels just to sop up all of the water. The pictures online look a lot nicer than what it was in person.

It was not a very good experience, when you walk in to this hotel , the smell is not pleasant , and we were a group , some of the rooms didn’t smell nice either , the staff of the breakfast area are not very nice, they are not friendly at all, you can feel that then don’t wanna work, the noises in the hotel, you can hear everything, of the room besides you flush the toilet , you can hear it , kids crying , if you are a difficult sleeper , don’t book this hotel , Breakfast options were very limited , we stayed for two nights and they have only scrambled eggs, no protein. Pancakes and some bagels and white bread with spreadable cheese, the first day we had flavoured yogurt option , second day , no yogurt at all . I won’t book this hotel again .

The staff here are lazy. The guy in the front desk named Raul was in the back on his phone. I kept calling and calling trying to check in over the phone nobody would answer. For breakfast the next day a bold headed ghetto lady was extremely rude. She kept yelling at the Indian customers that the oven was broken that breakfast was limited. There was no hot breakfast. The bagels she was putting out she was taking them out with her bare hands. She did not even have gloves on. Really terrible experience that lady should be fired.

No one was at checkout to get receipt. Could hear people talking, tried to get attention, they completely ignored the front desk. Extremely noisy from the room above me. Complained, noise stopped for a few moments then started again. Have called several times to get receipt, no one will amswer the phone.

Hotel was clean for the most part, the room I originally booked, the refrigerator was leaking water so they had to switch rooms and the other one was different, I liked the first one better so I was kind of disappointed The room smelled like feet but was clean

I have never stayed in a more dirty hotel. The floors look like they have never been cleaned. There was hair in our shower, stains on our bed, and all of the surfaces needed to be wiped again. The elevator was out and they did not serve breakfast. We cancelled our second night and went to different hotel. I will never stay at a holiday inn express again after this experience.
