The location of the property was perfect. I was in town for the Lions game and the stadium is walking distance. The property is also walking distance of several eating options and also a convenient store was extremely friendly and helpful housekeeping did an outstanding job. The room was rather small. For my next stay, I will probably book a suite.

Nice boutique older hotel. Convenient to Detroit Comerica Park, Ford field, and red wings. Very clean, bathroom updated, free water otherwise everything in fridge is pricey. Front desk friendly enough but couldn't figure out how to put food charges on separate credit card. (Long story) I would stay here again unless something less expensive was available. We paid $550 for 1 night.

We have stayed at the Shinola Hotel before and it’s always been a fantastic and delightful experience. This place is a true gem in downtown Detroit. You are within a minutes walk to amazing restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff are exceptional and are truly deserving of their Michelin Key status.
