The view is amazing from the resort. The Property is far from the main attractions and the strip. They had a few restaurants in the resort but otherwise everything is pretty far. I felt very safe and the staff was friendly.

I wish I could give a raving review but can’t. Overall main grounds of resort is beautiful and peaceful. Pools around the resort are nice. Beach is rough. Tuesday night barbecue was good. Penthouse 5141 needs and requires lots of maintenance. We spent our vacation dealing with one issue after the next. On our second night the pool drained b/c of a faulty valve so we were without a private pool for a day or two and that was the main reason we booked the penthouse. Management was quick to respond and the technician was very nice but it was a very big inconvenience. The twin bedroom air conditioner made a loud noise and dripped water on my bed all night. A technician came twice to fix it and it was still dripping water when we left. One of the front door shutters wouldn’t close so anyone could peep in if they wanted to. The rooftop lights didn’t work so technicians had to replace bulbs and wiring. There is no light when you get off the elevator at the rooftop pool. It’s a big hole cut out. It looks tacky like a low income apartment. We went to use the grill and was surprised lol, it didn’t work. It was embarrassing b/c we invited friends over. All these issues could have been fixed in advance if management had taken the time to make sure everything was in good working conditions. I’m paying for a penthouse, I expect penthouse quality. Crane management needs to hold their private owners accountable to maintain better housing conditions. It’s a nice resort but needs improving.

The resort was beautiful! All the restaurants were fabulous, food was great. The beach was right there, nice and sandy. I would highly recommend The Crane.

All around great experience, friendly, staff inclusive of the chefs and spa teams. The check in attendant extended a warm welcome and was very accommodating with my late check in. Overall our stay at the Crane was fantastic. It offers you amazing views, the swimming pools are fantastic. The beach was very dirty due to sea weed. They do not have an outdoor heated pool which I feel they should have nor do they have a hot outdoor jacuzzi. Also the small whirlpool is cold so we didn't end up really enjoying it. Overall though we may come again, but will NOT get a room with whirlpool.

Not impressed.
It was not a great first experience staying at the Crane. I come to Barbados once a month and stay in various locations all over the island. This was my first time at the Crane and will also be my last. Service was provided by people who most of all appeared to not want to be there in the first place. So not a good experience. I had dinner at the Italian restaurant and breakfast at Azure. Not worth the time or money.. plenty of proper restaurants on the island. On the positive side.. Great bed, and the hostess at Mount Pleasant was great and helpful. I really had been looking forward to trying out the Crane, so leaving this morning with a stomach problem from the food and a 6 hour flight ahead of me, left me quite bitter about wasting my money and my visit.
