A lovely little hotel within easy walking distance of the Old Town. It was very hot when we stayed, and there is no air conditioning, but the fan provided in our room was both efficient and quiet.
We had a room towards the back of the hotel on the 1st floor, with a window that opened over a small courtyard, and had no problems with noise.
The staff were very helpful. Between their English and my schoolboy French, all of our questions were very wll answered.
We stayed just the one night as we were driving from Switzerland back to the Eurotunnel terminal in Calais. Car parking was easy on the road outside. Charges are in play between 09:00 and 19:00, but we found it reasonably priced, with only a couple of hours to pay for in the morning as we took the opportunity to see a little bit of Dijon.
Had a great stay at Hotel Le Jacquemart! Incredible location in downtown Dijon — everything was walkable. Excellent service from the front desk as well.
The property was lovely with a nice staff. We loved our room! It was lovely and nicely sized. The location is a reasonable walking distance to all the shops restaurants and sites. I would stay here again!
What a great find in the heart of Old Town Dijon. Comfortable, warm, quaint. Friendly staff. Breakfast so affordable. Basic fare but for €15 for 2 adults and 2 children under 10 it was well worth it. Very happy with our stay. I also recommend doing the owl trail. kept the 7 year old very happy while the rest of us got a bit of a tour of Dijon at the same t8me.
This hotel is located right in the heart of the old city, so just a short walk from anything you'd probably want to see or do in Dijon. My room was very nice, attractive and clean, and everything worked. The staff was very helpful with any questions I had. Adding breakfast is well worth the extra 7.50 euros -- unlike other low-priced hotels in Burgundy I've stayed in, this one had croissants and pretty much anything else you might want to have first thing in the morning. Also worth it is the reduced-rate, 24-hour, nearby garage parking the hotel offers, since you would end up paying a lot more for on-street parking. All in all, the Jacquemart is a very good, reasonably priced hotel in Dijon.

It helps when there is no other option
The staff was nice and very helpful. The hotel was clean. The walls were thin, I was hearing people snoring and talking. There was no toilet in my room, only in the hall way. The location is amazing.
Great location. Helpful staff. It is on a classic old building, lots of character. Very close to excellent restaurants, places of architectural and archeological interest. Dijon is nice and very walkable town. Easy to use public transport to get to wine towns and villages between Dijon and south of Beaune.
Roomy rooms, surprising as high end hotel in Paris you could barely move around the bed! Beautiful, ancient architecture from 1700's but with new technology and amenities in room. Breakfast was typical French continental very nice. Hotel staff gave us key for late entry at night. All surprisingly good for a small hotel in a not too large city.
Hotel is great, old and nicely situated. The only drawback is lack of parking and the difficulty to find on street parking nearby. ADVICE: don't get their breakfast - go to a nearby cafe for awesome french fair.

Very good location in the center of town
The room was basic but nice and clean. We were on the 3rd floor in a room with clean shared bathroom. There are no elevators and the third staircase is quite steep which may be a problem for some. Walls were rather thin and inconsiderate neighbours may ruin your sleep. Heating in the room wasn't quite adequate. It was a rather cold week and the room wasn't heated enough. Staff were friendly. Location is excellent. Not too far from the tram which takes you to the main train station (or it's a ~20min walk).
Although booked an economy room, third floor attic room with no lift and narrow staircase is not for the faint hearted.
The hotel is in a great location for the town of Dijon and lots on the doorstep.
Parking is an issue but the hotel has an arrangement locally at 6 euro's per day of stay.
Le Jacquemart is a very charming, old hotel in a very conventient location in the centre of Dijon. At first I booked an economy room at a very low price, but after I found out that it doesn't have a shower I upgraded to a normal room (at little extra cost). The room was rather big, in a very good condition, and the bed was very comfortable. Dijon was struck by a heat wave during my stay where outside temperatures went up to almost 40 C, but the room didn't get too hot, in spite the fact that there was no airconditioning. The staff was always friendly and very helpful.
Old-style French charm in an historic building in the heart of Dijon. I was on the third floor in I guess what would have been the servants' quarters, up a tiny wooden staircase, simple room with views over the rooftops, shared bathroom/ toilet, which was fine. It's not had much done to it over the years, and retains an old-fashioned French charm. If you're expecting somewhere super-posh, I would recommend you don't stay here, but if you like character and you're easy going with the flow, you'll appreciate its location, friendly staff (it helps if you have a reasonably good grasp of French) and quirkiness. It's a reasonable price too.
