Upon arrival and first inspection, this tiny (perhaps 13'x15'), odorous (a little mildewy), shabbily furnished room (only a small old rickety table with a single chair and a small round 60s vintage nightstand to compliment a newer bed with a decent mattress) might be expected and reasonable given the price point; however, the absence of a forthright description of the shared (by 4 other apartments) bathroom in the hallway elicits some disappointment and dismay. Why not mention the bathroom situation? Anyway, the regular VRBO fees essentially doubles the quoted price making it less than a deal. Bare bones, to say the least. If, like us, you only need a tidy place to briefly lay your head and you're not concerned with the usual appointments, (like a chair or sofa, coffee maker, more than one electrical outlet, towel rack by the sink, screened window that opens, carpet less than 20 years old (at a minimum) -- if you're usually a happy camper but the forecast is for 90+ degrees -- these 4 walls with a window unit that blasts directly at the bed to allow for a comfortable night's rest with a public restroom nearby will satisfy. No frills and well-worn, to be sure, but safe and clean.
