We've stayed at the Campus hotel previously and it's our hotel of choice for short trips to Hagen. This time we had to use the late check in facility, which was straightforward. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast buffet excellence, as is the brot cafe on the premises. Next door is a good restaurant (Landhaus Tomas) for an evening meal. Last, but certainly not least, the staff here are welcoming and helpful.

A Pleasant Stay
It was a pleasant hotel experience. The hosts for both night were nice and the breakfast was delicious. So delicious, it seem like everybody in town ate in restaurant connected to the hotel. Parking was fine and the local area was quiet.

Great value for money
Used hotel for a trip to Dortmund. Was within 15 miles of our destination and was extremely clean and modern for a very low price. Also has a great bakery right underneath that is perfect for either breakfast or lunch.

Hotel is modern and only two years old and we had a generous room. Breakfast and dinner cannot be booked with the room. However it has an excellent bakery with very reasonable prices attached and a restaurant is two buildings further on. It is well placed for business use as it is close to the motorway and Dortmund airport is only 20 minutes away.

Excellent place. Would definitely stay again.
1 night stop en route to Dortmund area. I normally don't go for business type hotels, as they tend to be very bland and a bit rubbish. This though, was absolutely brilliant. Easy to find, easy to park, and easy to check in (i arrived late and had to use the automatic system, but it was very simple) The room was clean and very comfortable, and the bathroom had a brilliant shower, and even underfloor heating! Wifi connection was good, and the woman at the check out desk was super friendly. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there is a bakery which does really nice breakfast items. About 50m up the hill from the hotel there is a really nice restaurant though (steakhouse-style) which is very convenient, and reasonably priced. Only one slight issue is that the main road runs right by the hotel, so it can be a bit loud. Not the end of the world though, and it's something you generally expect when booking a hotel on the main road.
