Appreciated the "ground-floor" floor plan; too many new motels nowadays poke Expedia reserved people onto the 3rd floor in the back of the building somewhere (with no elevator). Pretty difficult if your handicapped or even just elderly. Interstate rooms are on the ground floor, you drive up to your door and unload, what could be more convenient. We called the office people due to our late arrival, they assured us there was no problem, they stayed and promptly did the check-in personally...

If you have to...

Check in was great, gal was nice. Room had a terrible smell to it coming from the AC unit that was almost unbearable to be able to be in. We ended up having to not use it so we could stand to try to sleep and just be in the room. It was hot and not pleasant with no air. Bathroom area could stand to be updated and so could the pillows, they were not good. It was not the most terrible experience, but it also wasn't the most pleasant one either.

The room was clean but could use some up keeping as far as cosmetics are concerned. The tub and sink area could use some new caulking and the room we stayed in could use a plumber or at least someone that could deal with the smell from the drain.

I like old style motels where you can park in front of your room. My room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and the a/c worked well. I would stay here again without hesitation. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful also.

Building room and contents are very very old ,needs to be closed and discontinued not worth half the money

The office lady was very very nice. Clean rooms Good parking. When I was there just for the night there was a pursuit with law, they got the vehicle stopped right in front of the motel. 15 police units it was a front row seat. Other than some excitement on the road it was a good stay.
